Jannah Ali, the karate player: I am proud of the Premier League gold medal and I have many ambitions and goals
Janna Ali, the national karate team player, confirmed that she fought hard to win the gold medal in the “Premier League” World Karate League Championship competitions. Which was recently hosted by Egypt in the main hall of the indoor hall complex at Cairo International Stadium.
Jana won the gold medal in the 50 kg kumite after defeating Kazakhstan’s Moldir Zahangbayirbay in the final with a score of 9- 0.
Janna Ali said: A wonderful feeling and a very big achievement, and it was difficult to achieve at my age now, as I play under 21 years of age. I achieved the women’s gold in the World League Championship, and it was a great struggle. But I was lucky, and I worked hard to get this medal, and I sacrificed some things in order to be the one with the gold.”
She added: “I want to thank my mother, my father, and my sister for everything they gave me, and I thank My coach Heba, who trusted in my abilities, Captain Hani Qeshta, Captain Abdel Fattah Al-Najjar, Captain Muhammad Al-Dahrawi, and Captain Muhammad Al-Sayyed, my coach, who made a great effort with me last period, and thank God I achieved the desired result.
She continued: “The Karate Federation provides us with all the capabilities, the appropriate atmosphere, and our requests to achieve success, and I hope to always be as trustworthy as possible.”
She concluded: “I have made a great effort to achieve success.” For the gold medal, I sacrificed many things, including my exams that were held during the championship period, but thank God I achieved an expensive medal, and my dream, of course, is to become like the legends Gianna Farouk and Feryal Ashraf, and I hope the audience will support me in the coming period.
The World League Championship is considered one of the qualifying stations for the Cairo 2025 World Championship, which the International Federation is advertising for by placing the slogan “The Road to Cairo 2025” In all Premier League tournaments that are organized over a period of two years.
About 385 players, male and female, representing 59 countries around the world, participated in the Premier League Cairo 2024, and 26 Egyptian karate participated. Male and female players are champions of our national team.
