Etihad Airways launches its aircraft "Airbus A380" To New York
Abu Dhabi, April 23 / WAM / Etihad Airways flight EY1, departing from Abu Dhabi, landed at John F. Kennedy Airport in New York yesterday, Monday, to launch services for the giant Airbus A380 aircraft, which includes the legendary Al Residence cabin consisting of a three-room suite in the sky.
Antonaldo Neves, CEO of Etihad Airways, said: “We are excited to welcome our guests on board Etihad’s A380 aircraft to New York, and we are fully confident that guests will enjoy an exceptional travel experience.”
He added: “The launch of this service on the New York route is consistent with our strategy to meet the growing demand and expand the network of destinations, and it comes three weeks after the launch of our flights to Boston, our fourth destination in America, which confirms our commitment to serving the American market and increasing its operating points.”
The aircraft will provide more capacity to connect Abu Dhabi and the American market, with smooth and timely connecting flights to the Middle East and the Indian subcontinent.
This service will also attract a larger number of visitors to explore Abu Dhabi’s wonderful landmarks.
One of the two daily flights to New York will be operated on board the giant aircraft, while the second will be on board the Boeing 787-9, which includes economy class, business class and first class.
