For its part, the Dubai Press Club, the organizing body of the forum, explained that this year’s session builds on the success achieved by the forum over more than two decades, during which it was able to maintain its position as the most important and largest gathering of Arab media professionals, whether working inside or outside the Arab region in various regions of the world. Its first session was launched last year under the directives of His Highness the Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Chairman of the Dubai Media Council, in confirmation of their role in pioneering the development of the sector and shaping its future image, and with the aim of participating in preparing the next generation of young media professionals qualified to lead an Arab media capable of keeping pace with changes and conveying a bright image of youth.
