Government: There is no truth to the spread of carcinogenic watermelon in various markets nationwide

The Media Center of the Council of Ministers denied the news that spread about the spread of carcinogenic watermelon in various markets across the Republic.

The Ministry also stressed that all agricultural products and commodities traded in the markets, including watermelon, are completely safe and sound, and free of any pesticide or chemical residues. It is subjected to a careful and strict monitoring and examination process by regulatory bodies. To ensure that it complies with all standard specifications, it appeals to citizens not to be led by this false news, while obtaining information from its official sources.
