 The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, stressed the encouragement of funding research projects that serve the sustainable development plan in the agricultural, industrial, health and other vital sectors that… It is consistent with the state’s plan to improve the quality of life of citizens, raise development rates in the country, and activate the role of educational institutions in serving the issues of society and the surrounding environment.

The Minister of Higher Education indicated in a statement today, Saturday, that encouraging innovation and entrepreneurship is one of the most important principles of the national strategy for higher education and scientific research. And achieving Egypt’s vision for sustainable development 2030.

 

He explained that the Cultural Office in Washington, affiliated with the Ministry of Higher Education, announced the opening of applications for grants to finance projects aimed at protecting the environment, improving food production, and promoting public health, provided by “The Conservation, Food, and Health Foundation.” Applications for these grants have been opened for non-governmental organizations, as well as for colleges, universities, and research centers in Africa and the Middle East.

 

He confirmed that the institution applying for grants receives funding for projects worth between (25 – 50) thousand dollars annually, for a period of one or two years, according to for the project plan, adding that submission is open until the first of next July.
