Crown Prince of Fujairah: Our armed forces embody the values of peace, humanity, and belonging to the homeland
Fujairah, May 5, WAM/ His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, affirmed that our armed forces embody the values of peace, humanity, and belonging to the homeland.
His Highness said in a speech on the occasion of the “48th” anniversary of the unification of the armed forces: The 48th anniversary of the unification of our armed forces is renewed on May 6 of every year, and our armed forces continue to prove that they are a model for consolidating the values of peace, humanity, and belonging to the homeland, since the announcement of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God rest his soul, and members of the Supreme Council of the Federation, the decision to unify the armed forces under one flag, on May 6, 1976, in a historic step to protect the achievements of the Union and fortify the process of growth, stability and progress.
His Highness added that the formation of the General Command of the Armed Forces and the unification of the UAE Armed Forces was a historic decision in the path of the Union of the Emirates, and a fortified shield in the face of aggressors over the past decades, and in the present and the future, preserving the integrity of the land of our dear homeland and its precious capabilities, guaranteeing, thanks to God and the efforts of members of the UAE Armed Forces. On land, sea and air, security and stability on the land of the Emirates, to be the backbone of its unity, and the pillar of its renaissance, development and elevation among the nations of the world.
His Highness continued, saying: On this glorious national anniversary, we extend our highest congratulations to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the UAE, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, “May God protect him,” and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the UAE, Deputy Prime Minister and Chief of the Presidential Cabinet, and to Their Highnesses the rulers of the Emirates, the Crown Princes, and the loyal people of the Emirates, renewing our confidence and pride in our armed forces and their loyal personnel, as they are a source of pride and pride for all the people of the Emirates. And for all the honorable people of the world, and a deterrent to those who engage in strife, chaos, and the greedy. It is an exceptional model that we will continue to be proud of, towards spreading the meanings of humanity and raising the banner of truth.
His Highness said in his speech: As we renew confidence in our armed forces and their heroic members, we remember on this day the sacrifices of the martyrs of the Emirates and its righteous and loyal sons, who sacrificed their lives for the homeland in the arenas of pride, honor and dignity, and received the honor of martyrdom and the True Heroism Medal, immortalizing their names and heroism. In the bright pages of history, leaving the torch of hope, light and peace shining for future generations, and carrying the banner of sacrifice at the forefront of the march of national unity, so that everyone living on the land of the Emirates can enjoy stability and peace.
