Medhat Alkmar: Egypt completely rejects the military escalation in… "Rafah"Her call for restraint is a win-win for everyone

Representative Medhat Al-Kammar, a member of the Ethics Committee in the House of Representatives, said that Egypt completely rejects the Israeli escalation in the Palestinian Rafah, which portends a real disaster in light of the escalation of the current situation.

Alkmaar pointed out, in a press statement today, that Egypt’s warning about the Israeli escalation in Rafah confirms that matters may slide into chaos, unless restraint is exercised on the part of all parties.

The member of the House of Representatives explained that the possible Israeli ground attack in Rafah would result in a humanitarian catastrophe, threatening the lives of more than 1.5 million displaced people who took refuge in the region as a safe and last resort after the demolition of their homes, which is not acceptable to Egypt, the Arab countries, or the international community.

Medhat Al-Kammar continued that Egypt’s ongoing movements throughout recent months are moving in one direction, which is to prevent the crime of displacement, stop the crime of genocide, and liquidate the Palestinian cause, explaining that the continuation of military operations against the people of the Gaza Strip, It increases the risk of the situation erupting in the entire occupied Palestinian territories, and a serious violation of international and humanitarian law.

The Qalyubia MP stressed that enabling the people of the Gaza Strip to obtain humanitarian and relief aid, in a way Safe and without obstacles, and creating a political horizon for the Palestinian issue is the only thing that can end the current crisis, and it will be a win-win for all parties.

MP Medhat Al-Kamar concluded that Egypt did not hesitate to continue its efforts. And all parties call for restraint, as the collapse of the situation in Gaza will be disastrous and will affect Israel before anyone else.
