parliamentary: "The international failure to end the massacres of the Israeli occupation is a stain that will not be erased"

Dr. Jamal Abu Al-Futouh, a member of the Senate, denounced the current escalation in the Israeli occupation forces launching military operations in the Palestinian Rafah, due to the grave humanitarian risks that threaten more than a million Palestinians residing in that region, and are an extension of Israel’s brutal practices that amount to To war crimes and represent a clear violation of the most basic human rights rules, and they qualitatively exacerbate the human tragedy of the Palestinian people since the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since the seventh of last October, and even exceed the Israeli massacres since 1948 until now.

Abu al-Futouh warned that continuing international failure to prevent these massacres will be an indelible stain on humanity, especially since the invasion of Rafah poses a threat to the entire region, and international conventions prohibit the occupying force from Forcibly transferring residents of the occupied territories or forcing them to displace, which is what the Israeli army violates in its campaign against Rafah and its permissibility of the blood of the Palestinian people without mercy, in light of the safe haven that Rafah constitutes within the Gaza Strip, explaining that Egypt’s strenuous efforts do not end at the level of all paths and communication. Its contacts around the clock with all parties in order to reach a permanent agreement that preserves the Palestinian cause and ends the raging conflict to protect the lives of innocent civilians.

The senator stressed that the Egyptian government and people will remain at the forefront of defending the Palestinian cause and will not calm down. It is important to shed the blood of the brotherly people by aligning with the heart of one man in order to provide all forms of assistance and mobilization to end the current escalation and to strive strongly towards peace as a strategic option from which there is no neutrality or retreat, pointing out that history will not forget the non-stop efforts of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to Establishing a voice for peace and restoring regional stability in the region through his ceasefire initiatives and working to form a regional and international front to confront any movements aimed at liquidating the Palestinian issue, especially with the current movements to approve the Egyptian proposal between the parties to the crisis.

Abu al-Futouh explained: He stressed that there must be urgent intervention from the international community, humanitarian and international organizations, and to respond to Egyptian calls in order to defuse the crisis and avoid expanding the scope of the conflict in the Middle East region, stressing that the Mawasi Khan Yunis area, in which the Israeli occupation asked the displaced to take refuge, is limited to the coastal strip west of Khan Yunis, which is A very small agricultural area that does not have any necessities for life, which will exacerbate the humanitarian catastrophe experienced by the displaced in Gaza.
