The President of the European Parliament arrives in Ukraine
The President of the European Parliament, Roberta Mitsola, arrived today, Thursday, in Kiev, the capital of Ukraine. The Speaker of the Ukrainian Parliament, Ruslan Stefanchuk, wrote on Facebook, according to the Ukrainian News Agency (Ukrinform), that Ukraine celebrates “Europe Day” today.

For the right to be free! For the sake of its independence and sovereignty, and on this important day, I am pleased to welcome the President of the European Parliament, Roberta Mitsola, to Kiev.” He pointed out that the European Parliament is undoubtedly at the forefront of supporting Ukraine, saying: “The Parliament was the first institution in the European Union to call for granting Ukraine the status of a candidate for membership in the European Union.”
