Grim discovery as body of a baby is found in stormwater drain by tradies, sparking major investigation

The body of a baby has been found by tradesman who were cleaning a drain in suburban Perth.

Police responded to reports of a body being located in a stormwater drain in Alexander Heights, about 1pm on Monday. 

An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the discovery is underway. 

Officers are urging anyone with any information in relation to the finding to contact police immediately.
