MAFS Fans Are Calling BS Over Why Gia Stormed Out On Scott

Married At First Sight‘s Gia Fleur stormed out of her husband Scott McCristal on tonight’s episode of MAFS and fans are either a) surprised for the “power couple” or b) calling bullshit on the exit.

The episode went from bad to worse for the couple — who have claimed to be “strong” during the experiment — when Scott’s closest friends, Paige and Matt, came to visit their MAFS apartment as part of Family and Friends Week.

The pair were asking Gia and Scott about things like the fact that Scotty doesn’t drink, how they’ll go about managing a long-distance relationship and whether or not she is looking for a “full-blown father figure” in Scott. “Matt and Paige were firing questions non-stop,” Gia said. “They came in with a bit of an agenda.”

Shit started to hit the fan when Matt asked whether or not Gia is a better version of Scott’s ex-girlfriend. While Gia’s bestie maintains that she’s territorial and will piss everywhere, she’s never jealous. Even so, Gia took a swipe at the ex by saying the ex and her are incomparable because she “would never start an OnlyFans and put that out there for $8”.

She then went on to say that she’s “a wife” who hasn’t slept with a bunch of people, but her inclination to perpetuate a certain narrative is an article for another day.

“I’ve removed her on social media, everything,” Scott confirms to the table, which also includes Gia’s mum and bestie, saying he and the ex are no longer in contact. But later, we found out Gia had packed her bags and left the experiment after Scott refused to delete a photo of his ex-girlfriend from 2020, which came up as a memory on his phone.

“Gia’s pretty much just walked out,” Scott told producers, claiming that she gave him an ultimatum — he either deletes it or she walks. “I’m not going to remove memories off my phone of an ex when there’s nothing there.”

Many fans are surprised to see Gia flee the MAFS apartments, saying they didn’t expect her to be the one who the trailers were teasing about leaving during the episode.

Fans were also quick to mention that Gia will likely chuck a Brook, where she leaves but comes back for the MAFS dinner party to address what’s happened.

And as for whether or not keeping memories of relationships in your phone is all that bad? Well, the jury is still out on that one.

I’m sure we’ll find out more at the dinner party, which I’m putting money on that Gia will be at.
