Kendall Jenner has embarrassing prom-level shoe malfunction at Oscar party as she keeps her distance from sisters Kylie and Kim

Kendall Jenner looked like a million bucks on Sunday evening in a pale blue gown.

The supermodel was hitting the Vanity Fair Oscar party in Beverly Hills with her best friend, fellow cover girl Hailey Bieber.

But when posing on the white carpet, the looker experienced a rare shoe malfunction that could have made her trip and fall. It was a rookie move that is usually made by inexperienced high school students hitting the prom.

The back of her ivory slingback heel fell off leaving her with an awkward walk as she tried to make it inside the venue.

It was also noticed that Jenner was not seen mingling much with her sisters Kylie Jenner, who was with Oscar-loser boyfriend Timothee Chalamet, and Kim Kardashian, who stood out in a gold gown with ‘stripper heels’ as she talked to mom Kris Jenner.

Jenner was a big part of Oscar night as she was seen in her new L’Oreal commercial which was a cross promotion for the film The Devil Wears Prada 2, starring Anne Hathaway and Meryl Streep.

Jenner’s mishap happened when she was walking on the carpet. She looked back at the photographers when the slingback strap fell off.

It appeared as if the problem may have been the shoes were a little too big.

Slingback heels are known for falling down on the job and have been deemed unreliable footwear for high-profile events, and that is why they are not often worn to the Oscars or Oscar parties.

Jenner took a gamble on her kicks and they let her down.

Meanwhile, her pal Bieber, who had on a strapless leopard-print gown, did not seem to have any mishaps.

Her husband Justin Bieber was also there as he wore a black suit and had a shaved head.

The ladies were joined by another model, Suki Waterhouse, whose partner is Robert Pattinson.

Last month Jenner said she was ‘still too busy’ to have any children.

The 30-year-old model is keen to start a family one day, but Kendall feels she’s simply too busy at the moment.

The brunette beauty – who previously dated music star Bad Bunny – told Vogue France magazine: ‘I want to have some, but not right away. I want to make sure I can dedicate a lot of time to them, and for now, I’m still too busy.’

Kendall’s siblings – Kourtney Kardashian, Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, Rob Kardashian and Kylie Jenner – have all had children already. But the model is keen to ‘continue having a good time’.

Speaking about her goals for 2026, Kendall shared: ‘The most important thing will be to stay true to myself and continue having a good time. It might sound like a cliché, but it’s very important to me.’

Kendall admits that she was ‘too stressed’ during her 20s, but she now feels more confident and stable than ever.

She said: ‘I think most women, most people, understand this: when you’re in your 20s, you don’t always know exactly who you are or what you want, so things can quickly become difficult or stressful.

‘It was the same for me: when I was 20, I was too stressed and spent all my time running around. Now that I’m 30, I want to focus on myself.’

Meanwhile, Kendall recently denied ever having had plastic surgery.

The model rubbished suggestions that she’s undergone a ‘full facial reconstruction’.

During an appearance on the In Your Dreams podcast, Kendall shared: ‘I’m not going to sit here and convince anyone that I haven’t had work. There’s a whole world on the internet that thinks I’ve had full facial reconstruction.

‘I’m just here to tell you the truth, which is the fact that I’ve never had any plastic surgery on my face. Nothing. I’ve never had any work done.’

After she was accused of ‘lying’ by host Owen Thiele, Kendall replied: ‘I swear to God. Uh, no. I’ve done two rounds of baby Botox in my forehead. That’s it. Only thing I’ve ever injected.’
