Ivanka Trump puts on affectionate display with husband Jared Kushner at ‘billionaire summer camp’ after she spoke about his ‘absence’

Ivanka Trump was seen putting on an affectionate display with husband Jared Kushner as they attended the Allen & Company Sun Valley conference on Wednesday – just days after she lamented his ‘absence’ in an emotional statement. 

The invitation-only retreat, which is known as the ‘billionaire summer camp,’ brings together some of the most powerful leaders from across industries, like Apple CEO Tim Cook and OpenAI’s Sam Altman.

Ivanka, 44, was seen walking hand-in-hand with Kushner, 45, sporting a casual-chic, light blue look for the event.

The First Daughter wore a light sky-blue look by Matthew Burch, which consisted of a $295 collared shirt and a pair of flowing, $545 wide-leg linen trousers.

She completed the elegant ensemble with a pair of white espadrille wedges by Castañer, which retail for $165, and a canvas top-handle purse from Hunting Season, which is no longer available for purchase.

Finally, Ivanka tied everything together with a pair of oval-framed tortoiseshell sunglasses.

For his part, Kushner looked casual in a gray short-sleeve polo shirt, along with a pair of Nike sneakers and navy blue pants.

The two held hands as they walked through the conference grounds.

Although there have been photos of those attending, the conference itself remains rather private, with little to no media allowed in.

The conference is hosted each July by Allen & Co., a family-run New York investment bank.

The event – one of the most closely watched business gatherings of the year – was designed to help cultivate ‘long-lasting and lucrative relationships with corporate leaders.’ It is kept mostly under wraps. 

The couple’s loved-up display comes just a few days after Ivanka spoke out about the ‘sacrifices’ that Kushner made on Father’s Day in June.

The businesswoman revealed she spent the annual celebration, this past June 21, at Camp David, Maryland, with dad President Donald Trump, her siblings and her three children.

While Ivanka said she was ‘grateful’ for the family time, she lamented her other half having to ‘sacrifice’ the day.

Ahead of sharing a carousel of photographs from the weekend together on her Instagram Story, Ivanka reflected on the occasion with a lengthy statement.

‘Last Sunday, we gathered at Camp David with my dad, my siblings, our children and their cousins,’ she penned. ‘Grateful for another Father’s Day together.’

Turning her attention to her husband of 17 years, she continued: ‘Jared couldn’t be with us. But his absence was one born on purpose. And we felt his presence all the same.’

Ivanka added: ‘The older I get, the more I realize that family is built in both the extraordinary moments and the ordinary ones: a walk, a laugh, a story shared around the dinner table.

‘These become the memories our children carry forward. Feeling especially grateful for the fathers who love, lead, and serve through both presence and sacrifice.’

Despite Jared’s absence, it looked like Ivanka was able to enjoy some precious quality time with her loved ones.

In one snap, she posed with her lookalike daughter, Arabella, 14, and her two sons, Joseph, 12, and Theodore, 10, outside the Camp David sign.

Another photo included the same sign and saw Ivanka and her younger brother Eric Trump, 42, in the saddles of their respective horses.
