Travis Kelce slammed over ‘dad bod’ at Chiefs training camp as fans joke Taylor Swift is ‘feeding him well’

Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift haven’t made any pregnancy announcements, but fans are already accusing the Kansas City Chiefs star of sporting a ‘dad bod’ at training camp following the couple’s recent Madison Square Garden wedding.
The 36-year-old Kelce did return from summer break looking a bit ‘fluffy,’ to use a favorite term of athletic trainers. And while he does have a history of shedding offseason pounds at camp, fans still marveled at the tight end’s slightly expanded midsection.
‘It looks like Taylor Swift is feeding her new husband really well!’ one fan wrote on X. ‘Travis Kelce is rocking that ‘dad bod’ in the first few days of KC training camp!’
‘Dad bod immediately after getting married,’ another wrote, adding: ‘Kelce’s one of us.’
But perhaps the most scathing remark described Kelce as looking like he’s on his ‘second marriage with four kids.’
Head coach Andy Reid has not been critical of Kelce’s physique and instead joked that the future Hall of Famer ‘stayed in shape’ by doing ‘a lot of dancing at his wedding.’

The light-hearted fun comes as the Chiefs are facing several issues that are far more serious.
Most notably, offensive coordinator and long-time Kelce coach Eric Bieniemy remains away from the team in the aftermath of his wife’s shooting by the couple’s son. Mia Bieniemy was released from intensive care and is continuing to recover as 27-year-old Elijah Zion Bieniemy faces a malicious-wounding charge.
Exact details of the incident remain unclear. Elijah is due back in court for a motion hearing on Thursday. Preliminary hearings are set to begin August 31.
Meanwhile, Chiefs receivers Xavier Worthy and Cyrus Allen, a rookie, both left training camp with minor injuries Saturday.
Allen went down with a minor shin problem after colliding with Kaiir Elam during a special teams drill. Worthy, meanwhile, aggravated the shoulder he originally hurt when he bumped into Kelce during a 2025 game.
Neither are expected to miss much time.

Mahomes has looked strong in his first training camp since undergoing knee surgery
The good news for the Chiefs is that quarterback Patrick Mahomes has looked good on his surgically repaired knee, which means there is still a chance he can play in the season opener.
‘I feel stronger than I’ve ever felt as far as strength and lifting and stuff like that,’ Mahomes said Saturday, ‘so now it’s just about getting that quarterback stuff down, the stuff moving in the pocket quick – making those quick movements – reacting and doing stuff like that.
‘I feel like I wasn’t playing my best football at the end of last year before I got hurt,’ he added. ‘I’ve got to find ways to get better, kind of navigating the pocket, run the offense better, getting the ball out of my hands and letting guys make plays. So I think this injury has kind of helped me focus on those little things as I kind of get back to who I am.’
