Constance Hall has spoken out about the eye-watering cost of Mounjaro after debuting her surprising new look.
The mummy blogger said the $700-a-month weight loss treatment had become a major financial burden.
‘It’s expensive. Like too expensive. That’s a hurdle,’ she said.
She said she had previously taken a break from the treatment, partly because of the cost and because she didn’t want to become dependent on it.
‘I’m in no hurry to shed the kilos… I’m not out here collecting addictions at 42.’
However, the business owner said she eventually decided to stop the treatment after she missed a couple of appointments.
‘My nurse and I kept missing each other… I thought f*** it, maybe it’s time,’ she said.
After taking a break from the treatment for about a month, she noticed changes in her appetite.

‘Possibly because I wasn’t at home so I couldn’t “night eat”,’ she said.
But she said she decided to resume the treatment after she was asked if she had a ‘baby in my belly’ when she was stopped at a waterslide.
‘The kids cracked up… ‘I said “laugh all you like children but clearly your mum just looks fresh and fertile”,’ she said.
The next day, she asked herself if her ‘food noise’ or ‘food joy’ was gone.
‘I love eating, once I was eating next to Denim while he was sleeping and without opening his eyes he said “you’re eating something you love, I can hear it, you’re happy eating”.
‘He was right… I was eating my mum’s butter chicken, I was so happy.’

Constance – who has five biological kids and two stepchildren – said all she wanted was to be ‘healthy and energetic’.

‘I look bloated, in a really unhealthy way. And I’m walking quite slowly while talking in the video, I sound out of breath,’ she explained.
‘I am now determined to keep moving, keep drinking water, keep reminding myself how good it feels to keep up with the kids and have energy.’
