The Wiggles star reveals her massive Dolly Parton tattoo and details meeting with the ‘warm, kind and wonderful’ country music legend a year before her death at age 80

The Wiggles star Caterina Mete has felt the death of country music legend Dolly Parton more than most.
The children’s entertainer is such a massive fan of the American singer that she has a massive portrait of Dolly tattooed on her forearm.
In a post shared on Instagram on Wednesday, following the sad news of Dolly’s death at age 80, Caterina displayed the ink and revealed touching details of her meeting with the star.
Posing alongside the I Will Always Love You singer, Caterina showed Dolly her tattoo as they posed together for a sweet selfie.
Dolly met The Wiggles in June last year, during their tour in Nashville, Tennessee.
‘Dolly has been a huge part of Caterina’s world for as long as she can remember,’ the post on The Wiggles official page read.

‘She was Caterina’s childhood idol and a lifelong inspiration. So much so that she has Dolly’s face tattooed on her arm, and even named her daughter Dolly in her honour!’
The post continued: ‘Getting to meet her hero was a dream come true, but having Dolly see the tattoo and then meet little Dolly and Gigi made it all even more special.
‘She was every bit as warm, kind and wonderful as Caterina had always imagined.
‘Such precious memories that will be treasured always.’
The photo of Caterina, 45, and Dolly, showed that the country superstar had signed her autograph in Sharpie underneath the tattoo.
‘Hope you immediately went to tattoo place to get signature tattooed on,’ wrote one fan in the comments section underneath the Instagram post.
‘Beautiful. Dolly is a treasure,’ commented someone else, while another said, ‘How incredible for y’all!’
The legendary country singer’s passing was confirmed Tuesday in an Instagram video posted by her nephew Bryan Seaver.

Parton’s representatives subsequently revealed that the Jolene singer died following a ‘brief battle with cancer’ in a statement to People, though they did not disclose what type of cancer it was.
‘Our beloved Dolly Parton spent her life and career bringing joy, laughter, hope and integrity into everything she touched,’ the statement read.
‘After bravely facing a brief battle with cancer, Dolly departed her Earthly life today at the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center surrounded by loved ones.’
Her passing came after months of health woes that saw her pull out of a string of public appearances, fuelling fan fears for her wellbeing.
