Tennessee Titans release defensive lineman Jordan Elliott after mysterious ‘incident’ at team’s facility

The Tennessee Titans have released defensive lineman Jordan Elliott following a mysterious incident at the team’s practice facility.

The AFC South franchise confirmed the roster move on Tuesday morning, issuing a brief statement addressing the sudden departure of the veteran defender.

In a statement, the Titans confirmed: ‘On Thursday, October 15, there was an incident at our team facility involving Jordan Elliott.

‘Following our review of the incident, we have made the decision to release Elliott from our roster. We will have no further comment on the matter.’

The vague announcement has sparked widespread speculation across the league, as the team remain tight-lipped about the timeline and severity of the event.

Elliott had only recently arrived in Nashville, signing a two-year contract worth up to $8.5 million with the Titans during free agency this past offseason.

The deal had reunited the defensive lineman with head coach Robert Saleh, who previously coached him while serving as defensive coordinator with the 49ers.
