America’s fashion queen revealed as DailyMail+ unveils the Power List that humiliates Hollywood royalty, stuns Washington’s elite… and leaves Lauren Sanchez reeling

Ahead of the nation’s 250th birthday on July 4, DailyMail+ is unveiling which famous faces truly wield the most influence in the United States.

Each week, we will focus on a separate group in public life that will include the most powerful political commentators, morning show stars, celebrity couples, influencers and more.

But, in addition to shaping the world through art, media or policy, these prominent figures also hold the power to sway culture with their style.

Here, the Daily Mail has ranked the most fashionable faces – from Hollywood to the Hill and beyond.

Ranked number one is Melania Trump, who has become a fashion icon as First Lady.

The former model has long brought her own style to the White House, from casual and polished to elegant and high glamour. But one of her most iconic looks to date was for her husband President Donald Trump’s first inauguration in 2017.

She wore a baby blue cashmere dress with a high-neck, collared wrap top and matching gloves, designed by Ralph Lauren. The look – which earned her comparisons to former First Lady Jackie Kennedy – was tied together with a pair of sparkling diamond stud earrings, a sweeping updo and baby blue heels.

Melania’s ensemble for Trump’s second inauguration ball this year was equally memorable: a black-and-white gown designed by Herve Pierre that was paired with a vintage 1955 brooch by Harry Winston.

‘She’s not doing what people expect. She’s not wearing safe, dull, traditional First Lady fashion,’ personal stylist Cynthia Kennedy previously told the Daily Mail.

‘She’s wearing what SHE wants, from her favorite designers – mostly European luxury brands like Dolce & Gabbana – and she’s making it clear that this job is something she’s doing on her own terms,’ Kennedy continued.

‘What she’s doing may not necessarily be modern, but it is strategic.’

The personal stylist noted that Melania is definitely not trying to be relatable, either, as her ensembles come with an eye-watering price tag.

‘She’s showing that she’s on a completely different playing field and follows her own rules,’ Kennedy said. ‘She’s not interested in dressing for any role.’

Since her time in the White House, she’s also managed to cause a stir with some of her looks, like when she sported a pair of skin-colored leather leggings from Ralph Lauren when she and her husband returned from a visit to troops in Iraq.

Second on the list is actress and singer Zendaya, 29, whose splashy red carpet looks have earned her a reputation as a leader in celebrity fashion. She wears custom and even archival looks from those including John Galliano, Vera Wang, Pierpaolo Piccioli and Louis Vuitton, to name a few.

But, according to New York City-based stylist Liz Teich, what makes Zendaya’s style top-notch is that she’s able to rock any look in any category.

‘I don’t think she has a “signature” style actually, what makes her an icon is that just like in her acting, she’s a chameleon with her style,’ Teich, who is known as The New York Stylist, told the Daily Mail.

‘She doesn’t bend to trends or stick with one style. She can wear old Hollywood glamour one day and futuristic style the next and it works… and that’s her signature.’

Zendaya has also worked with legendary stylist Law Roach since 2011, who has put her in tons of stunning and headline-making looks.

‘I think her relationship with her stylist Law Roach has enabled her to become an icon,’ Teich said. ‘She took a chance on him when he was unknown and she was just a teenage Disney star. She allows Law to push the envelope with her style, but always staying true to herself.’

One of her most well-known looks was the completely chrome moment that she wore to the London premiere of Dune: Part Two, as she graced the red carpet in a vintage, fembot-inspired suit from Thierry Mugler’s fall/winter 1995 haute couture collection.

Just behind Zendaya, taking third place, is Bad Bunny.

Since he rose to fame, the 32-year-old has not only gone viral for his music as he is the most-streamed artist globally on Spotify in 2025, but also for his unique style.

Image strategist and celebrity publicist Tracy Lamourie told the Daily Mail that Bad Bunny is so iconic because he doesn’t abide by any particular fashion rules.

‘He mixes different fashions, streetwear, luxury, and cultural references, and it all somehow works together, he’s not blending them, he’s stacking them on top of each other, so you see all the influences there,’ Lamourie said, ‘it’s layered, it’s real, it’s specific, and completely different, not styled into something safe.’

Some of his most well-known looks included a trompe l’oeil print Jean Paul Gaultier trench paired with bright red cowboy boots that he sported while in Paris in 2024, and his custom look for last year’s Met Gala, which included gloves covered in yellow crystals and a diamond brooch shaped like Puerto Rico’s national flower, the Flor de Maga.

Bad Bunny has also proved that he can rock both high and low brands, wearing a full outfit from major retailer Zara during his historic 2026 Super Bowl Halftime performance.

Ranking fourth on the list is Rihanna. The Diamonds singer, 38, is certainly not afraid to make a statement when it comes to her style.

‘Rihanna is a style icon because she uses fashion not as decoration, but as a sign of her authority, every look is decided, she doesn’t just try on clothes, she doesn’t try on a look, she arrives, and you see her exactly as she intends to be seen,’ Lamourie told the Daily Mail.

In 2016, she made headlines after she was seen wearing a bright red, heart-shaped coat by Saint Laurent. Two years prior, she wore the iconic ‘naked’ dress to the 2014 CFDA Awards, which was simply a sheer, diamond-encrusted tank frock designed by Adam Selman.

Rihanna is also a staple figure at the Met Gala, having served as a co-chair for the 2018 event. She’s also attended as a guest multiple times, spanning all the way back to 2007.

‘She doesn’t follow trends, she closes trends, and what really sets her apart, is her commitment to the fashion, there’s no hesitation in her look, she’s wearing what she’s wearing, she’s not testing it, she’s confident in it, and confidence is the Rihanna styling,’ Lamourie said.

Lauren Sanchez comes in at number five. The wife of Amazon tycoon Jeff Bezos is indeed one of the most talked about figures in fashion these days – for better or for worse.

Sanchez, 56, draws attention for her elaborate outfits, like the white Alexander McQueen pantsuit that she wore to Donald Trump’s 2025 inauguration, making headlines for the lace bustier she donned underneath.

This year, she has been working with Zendaya’s stylist Law Roach to potentially up her fashion game, as she was seen during Paris Fashion Week wearing one of the looks he curated for her – a red-and-white plaid tweed vintage Dior suit.

She’ll also play a major role at this year’s Met Gala, where she is both a co-chair and sponsor of the event.

Just behind Sanchez comes Rihanna’s husband and rapper A$AP Rocky, 37, who is currently an ambassador for Chanel.

His Met Gala looks from years past have made a big splash, including the bright-colored, custom-made quilt made by ERL that he sported at the 2021 event, which had an elaborate theme of ‘In America: A Lexicon of Fashion.’

Coming in at number seven on the list is Hailey Bieber, 29, who has become a style icon for her Gen Z fans. She is responsible for many trends in the beauty and style world, including her signature ‘glazed donut’ manicure and her love of oversized blazers.

Behind Bieber at number eight is Oscar-award-winning actor Michael B Jordan, 39, who always looks sharp in tailored suits and jackets.

This past award season, his style especially stood out. To accept his Academy Award for Best Actor for his role in Sinners, Jordan donned a super-tailored black collarless suit designed by Louis Vuitton. The suit featured gold buttons on the sleeve and gold chain detailing at the pocket.

Actress Zoe Kravitz comes next in the DailyMail+ ranking.

Kravitz, 37, has seamlessly bounced between wearing menswear-inspired looks, slip dresses and nineties-inspired grunge. Some of her most worn brands include Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen’s The Row and Saint Laurent, as she’s often seen styled in both, going for a lot of oversized silhouettes and purses.

Kravitz is also an ambassador and muse for jewelry designer Jessica McCormack and is often seen dripping in diamonds from the brand, whether it be a pair of diamond studs, a ring or a necklace.

Musician Pharrell Williams is just as stylish, ranking tenth.

Williams, 53, is a visionary when it comes to both his music and his style. He is also a designer, having founded streetwear brand Billionaire Boys Club in 2003, as well as its sister brand ICECREAM, and he currently serves as the men’s creative director for Louis Vuitton.

Some of his most famous looks include a brown suede oversized ‘mountain hat’ by Vivienne Westwood that he paired with a red leather jacket for the 2014 Grammy Awards as well as the all-leather, Western-style ensemble that he wore to the 2021 Met Gala, matching with his wife Helen Lasichanh.

Following behind Williams is actor Jacob Elordi, 28, who is known in the fashion world for his elaborate and iconic collection of handbags.

Many of his favorite bags appear to be by designer Bottega Veneta. He’s been spotted wearing many of their designs, like their bright, tomato-red woven Andiamo tote and their Large Hop in black.

The Saltburn star has also popped up wearing a bright yellow Louis Vuitton Speedy duffle bag, which he toted around while arriving at the 2023 Venice Film Festival and a green one in 2024 from Pharrell Williams’ debut collection with the designer.

Landing at twelfth and thirteenth on the DailyMail+ Power List are sisters Gigi and Bella Hadid.

Gigi Hadid, 31, has established a casual yet cool style, often opting for oversized denim, knits, fun loafers and eclectic hats from brands such as The Row, Miu Miu and Acne Studios.

She’s also a designer in her own right, as she created her own cashmere label, Guest In Residence. She makes cozy, colorful knits that have been worn by tons of celebrities, including her close friends Taylor Swift and Kendall Jenner.

Her 29-year-old sister Bella is equally as chic. Some of her best looks include the stunning, figure-hugging, scoop-neck Schiaparelli gown that she wore to the Cannes Film Festival in 2021, paired with an oversized necklace in the shape of a tree and her all-leather, custom Burberry bustier gown worn to the 2022 Met Gala.

After those stylish sisters comes Dua Lipa, 30, who is always on top of all the viral trends. In 2024, she took the bag charm trend by storm, inspiring many others to decorate their designer bags in the same way as she hung tons of unique keychains and even Labubu stuffed animals from her Hermès Birkin bag.

When she’s not going glam for awards shows in elaborate looks from designers like Prada and Schiaparelli, the star is dressed down in casual, effortlessly trendy streetwear. Like her peers, Dua Lipa – a Chanel ambassador – often sports looks from The Row, Bottega Veneta and Chrome Hearts.

Falling at number 15 is Vogue’s former editor-in-chief Anna Wintour. Wintour has been seen as the ultimate fashion icon for many years, and is most known for her oversized black sunglasses and signature bob.

The 76-year-old is often regarded as someone who is ahead of every trend, setting the tone for each fashion season. Wintour – the chief content officer for Conde Nast and global editorial director of Vogue- also oversees the Met Gala. She loves a bold print and mostly opts for dresses, skirts and tailored jackets, often accessorizing her outfit with a statement necklace, too.

Just below Wintour on the DailyMail+ ranking is Kim Kardashian, 45, who has gone through a number of style evolutions since she first rose to fame in the early 2000s.

Whether she was emulating over-the-top Hollywood glam in the early days of her reality TV career or decked out from head-to-toe in Yeezy during her marriage to rapper Kanye West, she’s given pop culture to many viral style moments.

Most notably, her Met Gala looks have always made headlines, like the crystal-embellished gown that she wore to the 2022 bash that once belonged to Marilyn Monroe. Her other internet-breaking Met Gala looks include a curve-hugging latex dress designed by Mugler, which she matched with slicked-back hair.

Gwyneth Paltrow doesn’t trail far behind Kim, coming in at number 17.

Paltrow, 53, is the founder of Goop and her own namesake luxury clothing line, GWYN, which sells buttery-soft cashmere sweaters and oversized trousers.

She is the original Montecito mom, balancing a casual California-cool with classic elegance, the blueprint for the ‘rich mom’ chic. But a moment that perfectly exemplified her signature style was during her infamous 2023 ski trial as she was sued by Terry Sanderson for a 2016 collision at Utah’s Deer Valley Resort that she was found not liable for.

During the trial, her outfits were the talk of the internet. She rocked an oversized, olive-green coat from The Row and a pair of leather Celine boots one day and a polo cashmere sweater from Prada on another, along with chunky black leather boots from the designer.

Kendall Jenner, 30, comes next in the ranking.

The model, who has graced the covers of Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar and Allure, has a style that has evolved quite a bit since she was first captured at age 11 on Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

Jenner often switches between high-fashion glamour on red carpets and dressed-down minimalism while off-duty. She often sports brands such as St Agni and The Row, and has even been seen around Los Angeles decked in activewear brands like Alo, Set Active and Adanola.

This past 2026 awards season, she attended the Vanity Fair Oscars party in a custom, curve-hugging, sea blue gown designed for her by Chanel’s Matthieu Blazy. The dress featured a sequin top with floral detailing, along with a sheath skirt.

At number 19 is Jenner’s ex-boyfriend, Harry Styles.

Styles, 32, is someone who is not afraid to take risks with his fashion. One of his most famous looks was during his debut at the 2021 Grammy Awards, when he donned a yellow-and-blue print tartan jacket by Gucci and a bright purple feather boa. Most recently, at the 2026 Brit Awards, he wore a pair of black ballet flats from Chanel as well as a black-and-white striped Chanel suit.

Making the Daily Mail+ list at number 20 are fashionista twins Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, both 39, who are the powerhouses behind popular luxury label The Row.

While the two remain largely private, when they are seen out and about, it’s clear that they have mastered the ‘quiet luxury’ look to a tee. They’re often spotted in hugely oversized silhouettes, lots of layers and mammoth-sized purses.

At number 21 is model Kaia Gerber, daughter of supermodel Cindy Crawford.

Gerber, 24, has established her own breezy style over the past few years, as she has an effortless look about clothing choices. And even when in full glam, her look is quite natural.

While attending the 2026 Vanity Fair Oscars Party, she wore a draped, strapless red gown that was custom made for her by Givenchy’s Sarah Burton. She kept the look simple and elegant, accessorizing with only a pair of red heels and thin, dangling diamond earrings.

Next are Margo Martin, 30, and Ivanka Trump, 44.

Martin, Trump’s glamorous aide and special assistant to the president and communications advisor, first made headlines during Trump’s 2024 criminal trial, with one Fox reporter mistaking her for Melania.

She’s been seen wearing a number of designer items during her time working for Trump, including $990 white Princetown loafers by Gucci, a $3,000 denim mini Jodie bag by Bottega Veneta and an array of suits and dresses from high-end labels Sandro and Maje.

And Trump’s daughter, Ivanka, has always been known for her refined, feminine style.

While attending a February charity event in Miami, she donned an intricate 90s Bob Mackie mini dress with a high neckline and short sleeves, once owned by her late mother, Ivana Trump.

She also wore a sequined Oscar de la Renta mini dress during Lauren Sanchez and Amazon tycoon Jeff Bezos’ extravagant Venetian wedding last year, leaning into her playful side with the cherry-blossom florals along the bust and a vine-inspired halter neckline.

However, when she’s in the spotlight and appearing with her family in The White House, Ivanka goes for a more conservative look, like the two-piece Oscar de la Renta skirt suit she wore to her father’s 2026 State of the Union.

Coming in at number 24 on the Daily Mail+ ranking is Isabela Rangel Grutman, the wife of Miami-based entrepreneur, David Grutman.

She has an enviable wardrobe, brimming with equally trendy and classic pieces. She switches from high-powered looks that feature tailored trousers, oversized blazers and long flowing coats, to glamorous evening looks that include figure-hugging gowns and girly silhouettes.

The 32-year-old also has quite the handbag collection, full of Hermès bags, Bottega Veneta clutches and mini Fendi purses. She’s also a fashion designer in her own right, as the founder and creator of her own line, Rangel.

Last but not least, at number 25, is actress Sarah Pidgeon, who has become a style icon in recent months since the release of the hit show Love Story. In it, Pidgeon, 29, played the iconic Carolyn Bessette Kennedy, wife of John F Kennedy Jr, and wore re-creations of Carolyn’s iconic, minimalist outfits.

But off the silver screen, Pidgeon herself has great style.

She dazzled at the 2026 Oscars Vanity Fair party, channeling the former publicist Carolyn in a Calvin Klein Collection gown encrusted with crystals and sequins. And, when attending the 2026 Actor Awards, she wore a strapless pink gown from the Balenciaga Spring 2026 collection.
