Aussies are saying the same thing about this moment between Harry and Meghan as couple begin third day of tour: ‘A love like this’

Spectators have admired Prince Harry’s chivalrous treatment of his wife Meghan Markle during the first few days of their whirlwind Australia tour.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have appeared at a series of engagements in both Melbourne and Canberra so far, with the couple due to fly to Sydney on Thursday.

Photos and footage of Harry, 41, opening doors for his wife, 44, and taking her hand as they greeted the public have garnered much appreciation from viewers.

‘He absolutely handles her with such great care! Opens her door and takes her hand. It’s very important. A love like this,’ one admirer wrote.

‘Oh my goodness, he opens the door for her! Lucky Meghan!’ a second wrote.

The high-profile couple will attend the Scar Tree Walk in Melbourne’s Fitzroy Gardens, where they will be given a tour of the protected cultural heritage site.

They will be greeted by Indigenous traditional owners at the Koorie Heritage Trust at the Birrarung Building at Federation Square.

From there, they will walk along the Yarra River and cross the William Barak Bridge.

The couple’s children, six-year-old Prince Archie and four-year-old Princess Lilibet, have not joined their parents on the privately funded visit – which will not include any walkabouts to meet the public.
