Norway fans were shocked to see talisman Erling Haaland substituted off in extra time during their side’s quarter-final match against England.
The intensity of the match in the Miami heat appeared to take it’s toll on their prolific striker, who was seen receiving treatment at full-time.
With Norway trailing at the extra-time break, manager Stale Solbakken made the surprising decision to take Haaland off for Crystal Palace’s Jorgen Strand Larsen.
The Manchester City striker cut a frustrated figure as he watched his side – playing at their first World Cup since 1998 – bow out at the quarter-final stage.
