Bene Responds To Jason DM Rumours

Farmer Wants A Wife‘s (FWAW) Bene Joseph has shut down rumours she’s been “flirting” with Farmer Jason Tessman following their brief time on the show together.

ICYMI, we’ve officially reached the end of FWAW 2026, with two farmers officially making their final decision on Monday night. One of the two farmers was Jason, who ultimately picked Poppy Victoria despite her not wanting any kids in the future.

“I’ve always wanted to say I’ve wanted more kids… It does scare me that it might not happen. But in saying that, maybe that’s a risk, and it might not pay off, but I’m willing to take that chance,” Jason said in the finale.

However, shortly after Jason’s final decision aired, insiders claimed they were no longer together and that the dairy farmer had begun rekindling connections with his other ladies.

“There’s been a lot of DM sliding,” the source told New Idea, with another claiming he’d actually been speaking with Benee, who only appeared in episode one.

“Bene has been proudly telling friends that Jason turned up in her DMs and they’ve been flirting and getting along,” the second source added.

“She’s also been saying he’s no longer with his lady from the show.”

Farmer Wants A Wife’s Benee responds to Farmer Jason rumours

Shortly after the gossip made its rounds, reality TV podcast So Many Receipts made a short video discussing the tea.

In the comments section, Benee cleared the air, claiming “there’s nothing” going on between her and the country hunk of spunk.

“Hey it’s Bene, and no there’s nothing with Jason and I,” she wrote.

“We chat very rarely, and I’m sticking to city guys!”

Bene is not the only contestant that Jason has reportedly contacted since production wrapped. Speaking to PEDESTRIAN.TV, Jason’s runner-up Logan Firth also confirmed that she’s spoken to her former flame, admitting that they “call all the time”.

“He’s a really great guy, and I think we’ll always be really good friends. He’s amazing,” she said.

So far, neither Jason nor Poppy have confirmed their relationship status, but all will be revealed in the reunion, which is expected to air in a couple of weeks.
