Everyone says Trump and MAGA are doomed. But Obama’s appalling new low and his cabal of Democrat idiots have just tipped this election on its head: MAUREEN CALLAHAN

And we thought Michelle was the sellout.
In endorsing Abdul El-Sayed at a Detroit rally on Saturday, Barack Obama has done the unthinkable.
Yes, the one-time kingmaker of the Democratic Party has begun losing his own – and it’s symbolic of the absolute chaos engulfing the party.
The mainstream media would have us believe that it’s Donald Trump and MAGA on the ropes.
But little attention is paid to the pandemonium on the left, from Congresswoman Ilhan Omar to streamer Hasan Piker to twice-failed Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris, who is weighing another White House run in 2028 despite the party begging her not to.
At the moment, it’s El-Sayed – and Obama’s backing of him – that’s causing the most heat.
Multiple Democratic powerbrokers have exclusively told the Daily Mail that they’d rather Republican Mike Rogers defeat El-Sayed, even if that means they fall short of winning control of the Senate.
One source told veteran political journalist and Daily Mail contributor Mark Halperin: ‘I don’t think Democrats are considering the profound consequences of an El-Sayed win to how the party looks and competes in the 2028 presidential primary.’

Imagine this line-up: El-Sayed vs California Governor Gavin Newsom vs AOC vs Kamala.
It is to weep. Or laugh. Maybe both.
Obama, fresh off castigating black male voters in 2024 for refusing to back Kamala, outright accusing them of misogyny – ‘Part of it makes me think that, well, you just aren’t feeling the idea of having a woman as president’ – is now implying that Dems reluctant to vote for El-Sayed are religious bigots.
This, despite El-Sayed’s mother and extended family having been active in the Muslim Brotherhood terrorist group – and that’s according to his sister.
Or the pro-Sayed political ad in which a couple shops for groceries, only for the woman to tell her partner to put a carton of eggs back, causing him to ask whether their children don’t like them anymore.
‘No, they like eggs,’ she says. ‘But we have to set that $7 aside for killing Palestinians.’
On Monday, El-Sayed’s campaign distanced itself, saying the ad was done by the radical left-wing Rebellion PAC.
That’s standard procedure for any campaign – disavow a controversial ad and blame the PAC.
The only problem here is that the ad was posted to X by Cenk Uygur, whose nephew and close political associate is Hasan Piker.
The same Piker who campaigned alongside El-Sayed on the eve of his Democratic primary victory.
Lest we forget, Piker once infamously said that ‘America deserved 9/11,’ – which El-Sayed also disavowed on Meet the Press last August.
‘Of course it was a dumb statement,’ El-Sayed told host Kristen Welker, though he still refuses to shun Piker. In fact, El-Sayed once called it ‘critical’ that Dems fulsomely accept him.
Piker, meanwhile, sat in conversation with Ilhan Omar at a sold-out rally in Minneapolis on Tuesday.

Omar is currently under federal investigation for financial misconduct and immigration fraud, the latter allegedly involving Omar marrying her brother. No charges have been filed and Omar has denied the allegations.
Not to mention the major, wide-ranging federal and state investigations into an alleged fraud scheme that paid out billions of dollars in government aid to sham charities in the Somali American community in Democrat-run Minneapolis.
The scale of the scam is so large it may even tip the race for the Minnesota senate seat to Republicans – a rare potential pick-up in a decidedly bad year for the GOP.
At that Tuesday rally, Omar laughed as she said her ‘good’ looks and charisma were simply too much for Republicans, while Piker blamed – of course – white racism and ‘jealousy’ for the flashpoint Minneapolis has become.
‘White supremacist forces in this country have decided to target Minneapolis because of the successful Somali American community that has been able to thrive here,’ he said.
Yes: If there’s anything that the United States of America, a nation that prides itself on the assimilation of immigrants from all races and creeds can’t stand, it’s the success of immigrant communities.
And doesn’t all this talk of Minneapolis bring to mind Governor Tim Walz, whose selection by Kamala Harris as her 2024 running mate helped doom her chances?
Walz, who put tampons in boys’ school bathrooms? Who was caught in multiple exaggerations, shall we say, of his otherwise meager accomplishments?
Whose wife, Gwen, said in a June 2020 television interview that she kept their windows open during the George Floyd riots, because ‘I could smell the burning tires… I kept the windows open as long as I could because I felt like that was such a touchstone of what was happening.’
Back to Omar, whose recent interview with Chris Hayes of MS NOW is a sad yet perfect example of the liberal media’s continued, active propagandizing.
As Jonathan Turley at Fox News noted, twelve minutes elapsed before Hayes asked Omar about immigration fraud. Hayes laughed while doing so.
‘I am trying to figure out the way to do this,’ Hayes said, ‘that doesn’t sound like I’m insane.’
This is utter journalistic malpractice, the kind that calls to mind the liberal media’s insistence that there was nothing cognitively wrong with Joe Biden at all – at all.
Twice-failed Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris is weighing another White House run in 2028 despite the party begging her not to
Until that fateful debate, which brought us Kamala Harris – who, despite blowing $1 billion and the media’s gauzy support, lost to Trump in a blowout that saw black and Hispanic voters voting MAGA.
So why not do it again?
Why not, even as multiple Dem sources told the Daily Mail that Harris has no business running again, and that her statements about possibly doing so have sent the party into ‘panic’ mode?
‘They are repulsed and flabbergasted that she just won’t take the hint,’ one well-placed source said. Donors, meanwhile, are ‘very snarky and condescending’ about her chances.
Even her problematic husband, Doug Emhoff, doesn’t want her to run again, per a well-sourced report this month in The Wall Street Journal.
So really, who better than Barack Obama, scold of his own party, berating the base for rejecting the mediocrity that was Harris, to insist that Abdul El-Sayed is the guy to ‘finish the job’?
Remember: Just two years ago, that was Joe Biden’s line.
