Sophie Baek, a lady’s maid who attended Lady Violet Bridgerton’s (Ruth Gemmell) masquerade ball disguised, met Benedict that night, and both of them fell in love. But Benedict’s search for the “Lady in Silver” following the dance yielded no results, as she did not exist in the form he had met her.
Split into two parts, Season 4 watched Sophie and Benedict meet again in their class stations, and the love found its way back between them, despite society dictating that they could not marry due to their difference in standing.
