Guy Pearce, Raffey Cassidy, Andrea Riseborough & Alessandro Nivola ‘High End’ First Looks Unveiled As Production Nears Wrap In Ireland

EXCLUSIVE: Rising UK star Raffey Cassidy (Killing of a Sacred Deer) has been reunited on set with The Brutalist co-cast members Alessandro Nivola (Disobedience) and Oscar and Bafta nominee Guy Pearce (Memento) this past month for the shoot of Antonia Campbell-Hughes‘ thriller High End.
Beta Cinema has unveiled first stills for the upcoming film, which also features Oscar nominee Andrea Riseborough (To Leslie) in the cast, as the production approaches its final days of principal photography in Dublin, Ireland.
First announced by Deadline in early 2025 under the title of Diamond Shitterthe drama is written and directed by actor and director Campbell-Hughes and is her second feature after It Is In Us Allwhich won the Extraordinary Cinematic Vision Award at SXSW in 2022.
Principal photography began on March 8 in Geneva with Oscar-nominated Robbie Ryan (Bugonia) on board as cinematographer. It is due to wrap in Dublin on April 10.
Set within Geneva’s affluent ex-pat society, the story follows young intern Nollaig (Cassidy), whose impulsive theft — and bodily absorption — of her host family’s diamonds detonates a deeply buried fracture line within their glittering world. As the façade of privilege begins to crack, the film charts an unsettling psychological terrain.
The production also features the work of casting director Dixie Chassay (Dune: Part Two), costume designer Saffron Cullane (Queen at Sea), and hair & make-up designer Wakana Yoshihara (Spencer). and reunites Campbell-Hughes with It Is In Us All production designer John Leslie, composer Tom Furse and editor John Walters.

Alongside her work as a director, Campbell-Hughes is known for acting credits such as her
portrayal of Natascha Kampusch in the Sherry Hormann/Michael Ballhaus biopic 3096 Days (2013), Jane Campion’s Bright Star (2009), The Other Side of Sleep (2011), the BAFTA-winning Kelly + Victor (2012), Netflix series Black Dovesand the title role in psychological thriller Cordelia (2019).
Multi-award-winning producers Rory Gilmartin (Christy) and Lee Magiday (The Favourite) lead the production, with Alan Maher (Everybody Digs Bill Evans) also producing. Co-producing are Max Karli and Pauline Gygax of Rita Productions (The Line). The film is produced with the support of Fís Éireann/Screen Ireland, BCP Asset Management, the Swiss Federal Office of Culture/FOC, Eurimages, RTS/SSR SRG, Cinéforom and Praesens Film.
It is produced by Cuala Films, in co-production with the UK’s Smoke Puppy and Geneva-based Rita Productions, in association with Sleeper Films, Carte Blanche, and Onsight.
