Huge blow for Rams as $208m star man Myles Garrett heads for knee SURGERY after just one appearance

Myles Garrett is undergoing arthroscopic surgery on his knee and will miss a minimum of four games after being placed on injured reserve.

The star pass rusher was traded from the Cleveland Browns to the Los Angeles Rams in the offseason after breaking the NFL single-season sack record last year.

But his Rams career got off to a nightmare start as he failed to record a single tackle in their Week 1 loss to the San Francisco 49ers in Melbourne. 

After the 27-7 loss in Australia, Garrett acknowledged he was not healthy and the Rams will now take action.

‘This was the worst version of myself that I’ve put out there, and I’ve got to be better,’ Garrett said at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. ‘I’ve got to find a way to recover and get back to the player I know I can be and I’ve shown that I’ve been before.’ 

‘I wasn’t the player that I wanted to be, and I feel like I wasn’t the player I’ve been before when I’ve stepped onto that field,’ Garrett said. ‘I’ve got to do what I can to get back to that.’
