Inside spoiled lives of ultimate nepo babies Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz and exactly what they do all day as insiders whisper to KATIE HIND: ‘It’s all ghastly…’

Posing in front of a mirror, Brooklyn Beckham looks thoroughly bored while he waits for wife Nicola Peltz to try on clothes at a Los Angeles boutique.

Documenting the moment to his millions of Instagram followers by sharing two pictures of his arduous task, he moans: ‘Me waiting for my Mrs to try on clothes ha.’

It is a chore that men across the world will be familiar with, only for Brooklyn – the estranged son of David and Victoria Beckham – at least it fills up his time.

For the couple, who describe themselves as influencers, have left even their most loyal fans wondering just what on earth they do all day?

Unencumbered by a 9-to-5, they appear to have made an art form out of doing naff-all. Their parents made their millions – or billions in the case of the Peltzes – through decades of hard work.

In contrast, Nicola and Brooklyn’s only role seems to be that of nepo babies, drifting around in designer clothes, troubled only by what highlight of the day they should post to Instagram – be it folding towels (June 11), burning carbonara (August 7) or that changing room selfie (July 30).

Even the producers of Big Brother – the TV show in which cameras track every movement of their housemates – would baulk at airing such mundanities.

But there isn’t a moment too dull for Nicola, 30, and Brooklyn, 26, to share. For sure, their hardcore Instagram fans will pore over every detail, but most of their followers will continue scrolling, dead-eyed.

Sadly I cannot count myself among them as the Peltz-Beckhams have blocked me from their Insta account, because they objected to my reporting of their split from David and Victoria.

So I have to get my fix of Brooklyn nursing a pint of Guinness (May 28), receiving an Amazon package (August 10) and Nicola smoking a cigarette (May 20) from my colleagues.

‘They don’t have proper day jobs,’ says one pal. ‘Instead, they just post on Instagram and show off. It’s all so ghastly, it’s like, “Look at us, we have so much money”– without actually earning it.

‘David and Victoria have worked extremely hard to get what they have and they did their very best to instil that into their children, let’s not forget that Brooklyn used to have a job in a café when he turned 14 – but then Nicola came along.

‘She comes from a different family culture entirely, she just had money thrown at her. Sadly, that seems to have infected Brooklyn.’ Sources tell me Brooklyn and Nicola’s recent marriage renewal ceremony at her father Nelson’s £3million mansion in Westchester County, outside New York, ‘at least gave them something to do’.

But with the party over – at least until the next boredom cure wedding – the happy couple have struggled to keep their Instagram followers from stifling yawns.

Yet, with each ponderous post of their glamorously stale lives, we can build a picture that begins to answer that tantalising question: What do they do all day?

Well, Nicola’s day seems to start with curling her eyelashes and contouring her face.

A girl must look her best for those kissing selfies that prove to the world just how in love she and Brooklyn are.

He, for his sins, is on towel-folding duty. Still, he spices up the chore he posted to Instagram by doing it topless, with We Are the People, by Empire of the Sun, as a backing track.

Next, it’s time for an iced latte each, with lots of cream on top. Being an influencer is such hard work!

Every now and again the pair will post about one of their money-making ventures, including a lucrative deal with Italian fashion brand Moncler. Nicola tags a picture of them in puffer jackets: ‘My style is very in the moment. I dress in whatever I’m feeling. I love Moncler because it is so easy to wear – it feels effortless yet elevated.’

For the Peltz-Beckhams, it seems, the greatest excitement of their day is when the Amazon delivery man knocks on the door.

Answering in his ‘at home’ uniform of sunglasses, backwards cap, T-shirt and grey joggers, Brooklyn is seen grappling with the package, confounded by the bubble wrap – but it’s worth the wait for the big reveal, a bottle of his Cloud23 hot sauce. And a ‘collab’ with whiskey brand Jefferson’s Bourbon, no less.

In a curious English-American twang he gushes, ‘I’m really excited’ without sounding excited at all. The package contains a bottle of bitters, ‘which is really cool’, and glasses, ‘which is really cool’.

Shopping channel presenters needn’t fear for their jobs.

For Brooklyn, cooking remains the closest thing he has to a career. And a heart-stopping moment arrived in a recent post in which he cooked some spaghetti carbonara.

‘I don’t have any seawater,’ he says to camera. Nor do most people! ‘So we are going to use some Malcolm’s Salt.’

Yes, he wants us to believe he normally boils his pasta in sea-water. Perhaps it dilutes the taste of the burnt bacon he sprinkles on to the dish.

He pauses after putting the food in his mouth – then manfully gives a thumbs up.

Life as a ‘chef’ is easy money for Brooklyn. He has a lucrative partnership with Barilla pasta sauces who seem unconcerned by his lack of expertise.

Nicola, meanwhile, has a penchant for dressing in Chanel to watch her husband ‘at work’.

And she dresses to the nines in black stiletto boots when shopping for groceries. Fans delighted at how down to earth the couple were when they posted a picture of themselves in a supermarket.

Another humble slice of life of the Beckham-Peltzes? Not quite, as they pose with his Cloud23 hot sauce.

Much of Nicola’s day is spent coddling her dogs Lamb, Label, Birdie and Angel – all rescued from shelters – or at least posting pictures of them to their own Instagram account.

While she does promotional work for Los Angeles-based Yogi’s House, an animal rescue charity, an actual career is proving elusive for Nicola.

In theory she is an actress – and enjoyed some success growing up, winning a Teen Choice Award as ‘breakout star’.

But she has also racked up two ‘razzie’ nominations for ‘worst supporting actress’, the last of which was for her part in Transformers: Age Of Extinction – a 2014 sci-fi film so bad it was described as ‘a three-hour migraine’.

Since her engagement to Brooklyn in 2020, she has been ‘resting’ more than working, with only one film role to her name: playing a stripper in the 2024 film Lola, which she wrote, directed and starred in. It was panned as ‘awful’, a ‘vanity project’ and ‘poverty porn’.

Still, after a hard day of acting, cooking and shopping, the couple reward themselves with a trip to the bowling alley, documented on social media, naturally, or to the beach for a pony ride, or they have a spin on Brooklyn’s motorbike.

Exhausting!

No wonder they spend many a night flopped on to the sofa.

In one post they are seen sitting on top of each other, wine in hand, laughing and kissing. Nicola is wearing her sunglasses, as you do indoors. Or sometimes Brooklyn plays pool while Nicola watches. Or has a kickabout with a football in the garden – something that must remind him of home.

Sometimes, after putting in the hard yards as a devoted husband, Brooklyn takes himself off for some ‘boy time’ to cheer on the LA Lakers basketball team.

And if the couple need a change of scene from Tinseltown, they might hop off to Santa Barbara to eat chocolate ice cream in bed and drink more wine. Or pop to Geneva in Switzerland ‘for lunch’, Nicola posing in a bobble hat and sunglasses.

The couple don’t seem too fussed about their carbon footprint.

Let’s not forget that there are times when Nicola and Brooklyn do keep it real.

When they came to Britain earlier this year, Brooklyn drank Guinness and – gasp! – the couple even used the London Underground.

It all must leave Posh and Becks wondering how directionless their eldest son’s life has become since he met Nicola.
