Ipswich vs Liverpool

Ipswich come into the game sitting one place above Liverpool in the Premier League table. That is because they defeated Sunderland 2-1 on the opening weekend in what was their first match back in the top flight.

The Tractor Boys then took the lead at Old Trafford before Manchester United fought back and defeated them 5-2 last time out. Those results leave Ipswich on three points from two games and a point ahead of Liverpool.

Liverpool’s start to the season has seen them go unbeaten but they have had to fight to earn two 2-2 draws against Newcastle and Nottingham Forest.

Andoni Iraola hasn’t quite been able to impart his style of play on the players as of yet but the arrival of Bradley Barcola could give Liverpool the impetus they need to kick on. We’ll find out if that is the case tonight.
