Daily Mail understands growing speculation behind the scenes centres on the couple’s connections within the Glitter Strip’s wealthy business circles, including flamboyant tobacco tycoon Travers ‘The Candyman’ Beynon.
The larger-than-life businessman is famous for his lavish Candy Shop Mansion, extravagant parties and headline-grabbing lifestyle, making him one of the Gold Coast’s most recognisable wealthy identities.
And while there is absolutely no suggestion Beynon has agreed to purchase Wyatt and Chantel’s Mount Eliza property, registered to bid, or entered into any arrangement with the pair, his name has emerged in conversations about exactly who could turn up on auction day.
‘The rest of the cast have been talking about this theory and everyone is expecting The Candyman to swoop in,’ a source close to production claimed.
