Kardashians switch up their annual Christmas Eve extravaganza AGAIN as they opt for ‘intimate’ celebration

They typically host one of the most elaborate Christmas Eve parties of the year, the kind that anyone would dream of attending. 

But the Kardashians are switching things up again this year. 

Instead of their typical over-the-top soirees, the family have opted for an ‘intimate’ holiday gathering – after it was previously revealed Kendall Jenner would be taking on hosting duties. 

Khloe Kardashian revealed their more laid-back (yet still glamorous) bash with Instagram followers on Wednesday night. 

Dressed to the nines, Khloe said they opted against doing anything over-the-top after mom Kris Jenner’s recent 70th birthday bash.  

‘We are not doing a big Christmas Eve party this year, because we just had my mom’s huge 70th and we just wanted something more intimate, so we’re doing just family, but of course, we have to still be so dressed up, because that’s what we love to do. And so we are just celebrating the holiday very glam and fab,’ she said. 

It’s not the first time the family have decided to turn down the volume on their Christmas Eve soiree – last year they opted for a more intimate, low-key gathering. 

In her reel, Khloe dressed for the family occasion wearing a strapless white dress that clung to her figure. 

The Good American founder accessorized her ensemble with a dazzling necklace as well as matching earrings. 

Her locks were parted to the side and flowed down in elegant waves to brush the tips of her shoulders. 

A layer of mascara was added to her lashes while a shimmering gold shadow was added around her eyes. For a final touch, a warm blush was added to her cheeks while a nude-colored tint was worn on her lips. 

Khloe also uploaded a sweet photo to her Instagram stories as her daughter True, seven, and son Tatum, three, posed with Santa. 

In a short humorous clip, the reality star could be seen filming herself as she tried to get her son to join her – who quickly ran in another direction. 

But True as well as Khloe’s niece Dream were more than thrilled to take part in a clip to showcase their own holiday party outfits – and sneak in the ‘6-7’ trend. 

‘How gorg are my two girls. They are like little candy canes,’ the TV personality gushed, referencing to their red and white dresses. 

Dream then stepped closer to the camera and waved her hands up and down while saying, ‘6-7.’ 

Khloe quickly noticed and stopped her niece, but then True swiftly jumped in to humorously do the same thing. 

‘No, True,’ the star said while motioning for her daughter to stop doing the trend and then panned the camera to show True’s white dress with shimmering silver embellishments. 

Kendall also jumped to her own Instagram stories to give a glimpse at her ‘vintage Mugler’ outfit for the night. 

The model put on a leggy display wearing a white miniskirt with a fuzzy hem as well as a matching fitted blazer with the same trim around the neckline and cuffs. 

She additionally slipped into a pair of closed-toed, gold pumps and added a sparkling necklace for a flashy flare. 

In the image, Kendall could be seen posing against a plain wall while holding a glass of red wine in her hand. 

The media personality then snapped a mirror selfie to offer another glimpse at the festive outfit.  

Her dark locks were parted in the middle and pulled back into a sleek bun, preventing any loose strands from falling onto her face. 

Earlier in the day, Kendall also uploaded a photo as she sipped from a Nutcracker mug in front of a Christmas tree. 

In text added over the picture, the model typed out to her followers: ‘merry christmas eve.’ 

Kylie Jenner also embraced the lowkey evening and took to her Instagram stories to reveal she was enjoying a drink from Sprinter – her vodka soda brand which she launched in 2024. 

She later unveiled her own glamorous look which was vintage John Galliano from 1995. 

The beauty mogul wore a strapless black dress with white-striped fabric which clung to her toned figure.

Her hair was styled into an intricate up do, with braided details and secured at the back of her head.

Kylie also opted for a dramatic smoky shadow around her eyes, a vibrant pink blush and darker nude tint on her lips.

Kim Kardashian teased her outfit for the holiday bash as she uploaded a short reel to her Instagram stories. 

The SKIMS founder filmed a selfie video and zoomed the camera in on dangly diamond earrings as she got glammed up. 

She then offered a full-length look at the eye-catching ensemble she had donned for the party – which was also vintage Mugler from 1986. 

It comprised of a shimmering silver corset top with a matching skirt that clung to her curves and fell down into a train behind her. 

Additional black fabric that glittered in the light could be seen around the bodice and hem of the skirt.

Kim snapped a picture in the reflection of a mirror after slipping into the look before also sharing short clips as she modeled the Mugler outfit. 

Kourtney Kardashian also attended the intimate Christmas Eve bash with her family – but first prepped dough in the kitchen. 

‘Merry Christmas Eve (making my grandma Helen Kardashian’s famous Beeshee dough so that it can rise for tomorrow morning on the way out the door to our Christmas Eve party !! ),’ she wrote in the caption of snaps shared to Instagram. 

She could be seen wearing a long-sleeved, green minidress as well as sheer black tights.

The reality star mixed ingredients in silver bowls while also stirring more inside a pot on the stove. 

Kourtney completed her outfit for the evening by opting for brown gloves and added a pair of gold earrings. 

Her long dark locks were parted in the middle and effortlessly flowed down past her shoulders in light waves. 

The star appeared to be having a blast as she showed off her cooking skills – and at one point, she made a funny face towards the camera.

After the party kicked off, some of the family also had fun taking photo booth snaps such as Kendall and Kylie. 

Christmas Eve not only brought the Kardashians and Jenners together – but Kourtney also celebrated her stepdaughter Alabama Barker’s 20th birthday on Wednesday.  

The TV personality shared a photo of balloons placed on what appeared to be Alabama’s door – while large bouquets of pink roses were placed nearby. 

Another slide showed an ornate gingerbread house with a drink that had ‘I [heart] Alabama’ on top. 

Khloe also recently revealed on her Khloe In Wonder Land podcast that the family ‘all equally split the cost’ when it comes to their annual Christmas Eve bash.  

Last year, the stars also opted for a more low-key and intimate gathering which had seemingly been held at Kendall’s $8.5 million house.

Khloe and her two children had been absent from the party – which was later revealed to be due to her son Tatum being sick.

Kendall had recently hinted at what the annual party would entail this year.

‘It’s pretty much the usual,’ the model told People. ‘Last year, we did a smaller Christmas Eve party, and it was super lovely.

‘Usually, they’re kind of these blowouts for the last, like, since I was born. But we’re doing a smaller one again this year, and I’m really happy about it. And so it’ll be cozy vibes.’

Back in 2023, the Christmas Eve bash was held at Kim’s $60 million Hidden Hills mansion, and a number of celebrity guests were in attendance – including Paris Hilton.
