Karoline Leavitt has set herself up to become the next big lifestyle guru… and it could earn her millions

Move over Meghan Markle and Gwyneth Paltrow, as former White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt could be positioning herself to become the next big lifestyle guru.

In the weeks since she left her job as White House press secretary, the mom-of-two has been sharing constant updates on her endeavors with her 3.1 million Instagram followers.

And experts say that Leavitt, 29, could turn her social media content into a very lucrative business should she choose to go that route.

PR experts pointed out that she already possesses the elusive quality that sets the most successful influencers apart – and she could potentially earn a whopping six figures from a single brand deal.

Leavitt, who served as President Donald Trump’s press secretary for over one year, officially retired from her post on Thursday, August 27.

It came just two weeks after she announced that she would be stepping down, citing that she wanted to spend more time with her young family.

She and her husband, Nicholas Riccio, 61, share daughter Viviana ‘Vivi,’ four months, and son Niko, two.

‘I think the birth of my second daughter, as I said in my statement, really just showed me that two children at home deserve and need their mothers 24/7 constant attention and presence,’ Leavitt told News Nation’s Markie Martin during a recent appearance on Morning in America.

Since then, Leavitt has been documenting her new life on her Instagram page, posting pictures and videos of herself spending time with her kids and golfing, among other things.

Earlier this month, she even shared the link to her favorite baby carrier on her Instagram Stories so that followers could buy the same one – while making sure to note that the post was not sponsored.

She also recently teased on Instagram that she will be sharing a lot more about motherhood on her page.

So could mommy blogging and influencing be the rising star’s next career move? According to experts, it could certainly be an avenue that’s worthwhile.

‘Karoline Leavitt already has the two ingredients most people spend years trying to manufacture: instant name recognition and an audience that already trusts her voice,’ Evan Nierman, founder and CEO of Florida-based PR firm, Red Banyan, told the Daily Mail.

‘That gives her a real head start if she wants to build a lifestyle brand and monetize the platform she has already earned, provided she treats it with the same discipline she brought to her political career,’ Nierman said.

He theorized that Leavitt may use influencing as a lucrative side channel that is layered on top of a political career rather than her full-time focus; it was recently revealed that she will be returning to President Trump’s super Political Action Committee, MAGA Inc., as an outside advisor.

But if she were to go all in on influencing, Nierman said that it could be extremely lucrative for Leavitt, as she has the potential to make anywhere from five to six figures for a single sponsored post. If she earned the latter, it would only take 10 ads for her to make $1 million.

‘With roughly three million Instagram followers and a highly engaged political fan base, Karoline could reasonably command five figures for a single sponsored post out of the gate,’ Nierman told the Daily Mail.

‘Influencers with far less built-in name recognition regularly clear six figures annually once they add multiple brand deals, appearance fees and their own product lines,’ he added.

‘If she leans into a lifestyle or parenting niche the ceiling climbs considerably higher.’

Mike Fahey, founder and CEO of Fahey Communications, agreed that the former White House Press Secretary has the potential to make five figures, but he advised her to be selective if she chooses to partner with any brands.

‘The irony is that being selective would probably make her more valuable,’ Fahey told the Daily Mail. ‘If every third post became an advertisement, the value diminishes very quickly.’

The PR expert explained that because Leavitt already has so many eyes on her, she could be extremely successful should she decide to become a full-fledged influencer or launch a lifestyle brand like Paltrow’s Goop and Markle’s As Ever.

‘Karoline is young, recognizable, politically polarizing, comfortable on camera and already exists at the intersection of politics and pop culture,’ Fahey said.

In the past, while she was still the White House Press Secretary, she shared a few glimpes of her everyday life. While accompanying the President to South Korea last year, she posted the skincare items she bought on the trip

‘Supporters will follow her because they like her. Critics will follow because they want to see what she says next,’ he continued.

‘Lifestyle audiences may follow because they’re interested in everything from her clothes to motherhood.’

Both experts believe that Leavitt’s foray into sharing more on social media is deliberate.

‘Sharing more of her personal life online is a deliberate, well-timed strategy, especially right after such a high-profile, high-scrutiny White House role,’ Nierman told the Daily Mail.

‘Audiences who followed her professionally are naturally curious who she is away from the podium, and small moments, like recommending a baby carrier, function as low-risk trial balloons that gauge audience appetite before fully committing to a personal brand,’ he explained.

Fahey agreed that her recent posts ‘absolutely’ seem strategic.

‘Politics has become intensely personality-driven,’ Fahey said. ‘Voters and social media audiences increasingly want to know the person behind the podium, not simply hear the message delivered from it.’

The Daily Mail has reached out to Leavitt’s representative for comment.

In addition to her potential social media career, it’s possible she could be considering a spot on daytime television.

The Daily Mail previously reported that Leavitt is supposedly considering a co-host spot on ABC’s The View, as the network is interested in having her join the show.

Leavitt is said to be considering the idea, which has been met with enthusiastic support from President Trump and other White House officials.
