Karoline Leavitt shares video of her highlights as White House Press Secretary as replacement Katie Zacharia crashes and burns after just five days on the job

Former White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt reflected on her successful stint at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. by sharing a highlight reel of her slamming reporters just days after her replacement, Katie Zacharia, was fired.

Leavitt, 29, reposted a compilation of her tenure as press secretary on Monday after she stepped down from the role in late August to spend time with her young children.

For her part, Zacharia, 42, was appointed as the new press secretary on October 9. However, she was terminated less than five days later after her debut briefing drew criticism for her nervous demeanor and revelations emerged that she had never passed the bar exam – despite describing herself as an attorney.

As the Trump administration once again transitions to replace Leavitt, she reminded Republicans just how much of a superstar she was at dunking on left-wing reporters.

The footage kicked off with the former press secretary fielding a question from a reporter who asked if the president would allow peaceful protests at a military parade.

‘Of course, the president supports peaceful protest. What a stupid question,’ said Leavitt with a smile.

The edited clip, which was originally posted in August before the MAGA icon reposted it, featured her answering a question about the alleged use of an autopen by the Biden administration.

‘But was he aware of his signature being used on every single pardon?’ Leavitt asked a reporter. ‘That’s a question you should ask the White House.’

When the journalist asked the former press secretary if she had evidence to support her claim, Leavitt snapped back.

‘You’re a reporter. You should find out,’ she said.

Another interaction was between Leavitt and the Associated Press when a journalist tried to press her on Trump’s tariffs.

‘When ultimately, we have fair and balanced trade, which the American people have not seen in decades, as I said at the beginning, revenues will stay here, wages will go up, and our country will be made wealthy again,’ said Leavitt.

‘And I think it’s insulting that you are trying to test my knowledge of economics and the decisions that this president has made. I now regret giving a question to the Associated Press.’

The video goes on to show Leavitt, without any context, scolding a reporter, calling them ‘biased’ and a ‘hack,’ before ending with a final clip of her slamming another journalist for asking a question she saw as biased.

‘Oh, OK, so you’re a biased reporter with a left-wing opinion,’ she said. ‘Yeah, because you’re a left-wing hack. You’re not a reporter. You’re posing in this room as a journalist, and it’s so clear by the premise of your question.’

‘And you and the people of the media who have such biases but fake like you’re a journalist shouldn’t even be sitting in that seat. But you’re pretending that you’re a journalist, but you’re a left-wing activist, and the question that you just raised, and your answer proves your bias,’ she added.

‘You should be reporting on the facts. You should be reporting on the cases.’

She then asked if he was aware of the number of American citizens killed at the hands of illegal migrants before praising ICE.

‘Shame on people like you and people in the media who have a crooked view and a biased view and pretend like you’re a real honest journalist,’ Leavitt said.

The compilation garnered more than 2.1 million views and over 125,000 likes on Instagram.

Fox News announced earlier this month that Leavitt landed a job as a contributor at the network.

She also announced in August that she would now take on a role at a GOP-aligned PAC.

Her announcement came shortly after she returned to Pennsylvania Avenue from maternity leave, telling everyone: ‘Let’s get back to work.’

Trump previously told Fox News that he was in ‘no rush’ to name a replacement press secretary following Zacharia’s exit.

Her tenure was shorter than Anthony Scaramucci’s famously brief 11 days as White House communications director in 2017.

She previously lasted only six weeks as a communications adviser at Homeland Security earlier this year.

Before joining the White House, Zacharia was a senior communications adviser at Trump Media & Technology Group.

She spent two months earlier this year as a deputy assistant secretary for public affairs at the Department of Homeland Security.

Her debut briefing on Tuesday lasted just 14 minutes and allowed questions from only three reporters. Leavitt’s briefings averaged about 45 minutes.

The Daily Mail has reached out to the White House and representatives for Leavitt and Zacharia for comment.
