Friends, I don’t know about you, but usually around this time of year I start to lose some momentum. It’s so cold and dark in the mornings and evenings that finding the motivation to get out and exercise feels ten times harder. If you’re wildly nodding your head in agreement, we’ve got some good news for you. The legends over at KIC wellness (founded by Laura Henshaw and Steph Claire Smith) are currently running their major mid-year sale, which offers up to 30 per cent off its three and 12-month memberships.
Running from now until July 26, subscribers can get three months for $49 (usually $69.99) or 12 months for $99 (usually $134.99). The promotion coincides with the “Progress. Not Perfection” two-week winter challenge, giving users access to over 1,000 workouts (including Pilates, strength, and HIIT), dietitian-approved recipes, and mindset programs.
Set to begin July 20, the KIC Progress Challenge gives members the chance to choose from three different challenges.

Progress with Pilates with trainer Kika
Not into weights? Join Kika for some seriously spicy, yet deeply satisfying Pilates sessions — the kind of workout that leaves you surprised by what your body can do. Using bodyweight and optional dumbbells and resistance bands, this challenge builds full-body strength, improves posture and core stability.
Progress with Strength with trainer Danny
Described as picking up the weights and putting down the pressure, this challenge is all about building muscle, improving endurance and leaving you feeling genuinely powerful. All you’ll need is some dumbbells and kettlebells.
Progress with Prenatal Pilates with trainer Christina
For all the pregnant mamas, you’ll feel strong and supported at every stage of your pregnancy with Christina’s Pilates sessions. Using bodyweight, optional dumbbells, resistance bands, and a Pilates ball, this challenge supports your changing body — building strength, improving stability, and giving you space to move in a way that feels good right now.
Each challenge runs for two weeks, with three sessions per week and workouts ranging from 10 to 20 minutes. It’s all about building consistent, realistic movement habits centred around busy routines.
Say goodbye to slogging it out in the gym.

The KICApp offers one of Australia’s most comprehensive wellness platforms. Members have access to an extensive library of workouts, including Pilates, strength training, HIIT, yoga, mobility and low-impact workouts, alongside structured run programs ranging from 3km to marathon distance and gym-based programming.
It doesn’t just stop there — there’s also KICBump, which provides dedicated pre and postnatal support through Pilates, strength and recovery content designed specifically for pregnancy and the postpartum period.
Beyond movement, the app also offers breathwork, mindset content and nourishment support.
As someone who has tried and tested over a dozen fitness apps in the name of ~journalism~, I can hand on heart say I’ve come back to the KICApp time and time again. It’s one of the best fitness apps on the Australian market. It truly is an all-in-one wellness hub, from the extensive range of workouts and recipes right through to the mindfulness of breathwork and meditation — it’s got it all and at a reasonable price point.
The other amazing aspect of joining the KICApp is the community. The virtual community built around KIC (especially their private Facebook group) is known for being so kind and encouraging. Members use it to share milestones, look for support on off-days, and connect without the comparison traps.
