Lindsay Clancy returns to court for retrial hearing as lawyer says she’s still suicidal: Live updates

Lindsay Clancy is due back in a Massachusetts courtroom on Monday, where a judge could set a date for her second murder trial in the killings of her three children.
Prosecutors have still not confirmed whether they will try the 36-year-old again after her first trial ended in a hung jury, split 11 to 1 to acquit, in September.
Clancy was charged with triple first-degree murder for the January 2023 killings of her children, five-year-old Cora, three-year-old Dawson and eight-month-old Callan.
She admitted to strangling the kids, but pleaded not guilty to murder by reason of insanity, saying she was suffering severe postpartum psychosis and was overmedicated by doctors.
On Monday, the prosecution, the defense and Judge William Sullivan are set to discuss scheduling Clancy’s retrial, as well as several other motions.
