Macaulay Culkin Is Coming To Australia For Home Alone Screenings

Just one day after bringing viewers to tears with his tribute honouring the late Catherine O’Hara at the 2026 Emmy Awards, Macaulay Culkin has announced that he will be coming to Australia.

The former child star will be touring across the country throughout November for special screenings of his iconic Christmas film Home Alone.

The screenings — which were announced on Wednesday morning — will see the actor take to the stage for a live moderated interview following the film, where he will share behind-the-scenes stories and his favourite moments from the holiday classic.

When is Macaulay Culkin coming to Australia?

Home Alone: A Nostalgic Night with Macaulay Culkin kicks off at Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall on Tuesday, November 24.

He will then visit Melbourne’s Regent Theatre on Friday, November 27, before ending the tour at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on Sunday, November 29. Who says the holiday season can’t start in November?

Presale tickets go on sale from 10am on Monday, September 21, before general public tickets go on sale from 11am local time on Wednesday, September 23rd.

For the super fans among us, there are also a limited number of VIP tickets available, which include a personal post-show photo opportunity with Macaulay Culkin himself. TBC if his equally talented wife Brenda Song will also be in attendance.

Culkin earned critical and global acclaim for starring in the first two Home Alone films, even earning a Golden Globe nomination for his performance in the first movie. He’s also appeared in the films My Girl and Richie Rich and had roles in the TV shows American Horror Story, The Righteous Gemstones and Fallout.

Merry Christmas, ya filthy animal!
