MAFS Stars Reportedly Snubbed From Australian Fashion Week
Australian Fashion Week has officially rolled around, and word on the street is that a myriad of Married At First Sight (MAFS) and other reality TV stars have been snubbed from the fashion festivities.
While Australian Fashion Week is an opportunity for the country’s latest and greatest creative minds to get their flowers, it has also become a stomping ground for reality TV celebrities to make the most of their newfound fame.
In previous years, ex-MAFS participants, including Cam Merchant, Jules Robinson and Martha Kalifatidis, have graced the rows of Australian Fashion Week. Last year, after producing a bunch of conversation-sparking Dinner Party ‘fits throughout the season, Carina Mirabile shook Sydney’s Carriageworks with her Kardashian-esque looks.
However, after an explosive season that included one of the nastiest Dinner Parties in MAFS history, screenshot gate, finger bang gate, and only one successful couple, it appears that designers and PR teams are becoming extremely selective about their Fashion Week guest lists.
According to Daily Mail Australia, Aussie designers and PR teams — who hold the keys to the city that is Australian Fashion Week — are “culling guest lists in favour of prestige, polish and stronger brand alignment”.
As a result, it’s been reported that a bunch of MAFS and reality TV stars are expected to be snubbed of Australian Fashion Week spots.

However, the publication reports that a select few MAFS 2026 castmates are expected to make an appearance, including Bec Zacharia, Gia Fleur and fan-favourite Sam ‘Sammy’ Stanton.
Alongside our 2026 guests, Carina, Rhi Disljenkovic, Paul Antoine and Jules have secured invitations. However, it’ll be interesting to see if Carina and Paul cross paths, considering the hot mess express of their ‘marriage’ and *those* dramatic Final Vows.
Daily Mail Australia also reported that fans can expect to see Tammy Hembrow alongside her boyfriend Grayson Te Moana, Georgia Fowler, Simone Holtznagel, Erin Holland, Inka Williams, Anna Robards, Maria Thattill and many more.
In 2022, ex-MAFS bride Carolina Santos kicked up a stink during Australian Fashion Week after she called out Michael Lo Sordo for not giving her a seat as their show and in 2023, serial pest Nasser Sultan was reportedly kicked out from the shindig for posing as a journo.
Sultan has yet to be spotted at 2026’s festivities, but I honestly think if I were to say his name three times he will appear at the Museum of Contemporary Art…
