Sisters Malia Obama and Sasha Obama were spotted soaking up the sun with friends on Sunday – just hours before mom Michelle Obama was targeted with a vile slur at Donald Trump’s White House UFC event.
The duo, whose parents are Michelle and former president Barack Obama, looked to be in good spirits as they strolled through Los Feliz, California, on Sunday.
Both looked effortlessly chic as they expressed their individual senses of style.
Malia, 27, opted for a white vest top that flashed her midriff along with a denim mini skirt and black boots. She accessorized with a pair of sunglasses and a blue cross-body bag but decided to juggle her phone and keys in her hand.
For her part, Sasha, 25, wore a pair of white wide-leg linen trousers along with a $595 plaid pastel shirt by Rachel Comey.
The younger sister looked casual with a pair of flip flops, oversized shades and tan handbag.
The sisters strolled down the sidewalk flanked by pals as the group grabbed a bite to eat together as they continue to embrace life on the West Coast.
Malia relocated to the city in 2021 to pursue a career in screenwriting, while sister Sasha moved in 2022 so she could attend University of Southern California for her senior year.

Their appearance came just hours before Trump’s birthday celebrations at the White House, which saw UFC fighter Josh Hokit cry out ‘Michelle Obama is a man’ in his post-fight interview.
Hokit was being interviewed by Joe Rogan inside the Octagon after stopping Derrick Lewis in the second round.
He had exited the cage moments earlier to give Trump, who was sitting ringside, a necklace and returned for a moment of glory.
‘Shout out to Trump for having the b***s to put this s**t on. If I’m going to say anything, there’s only one person more incredible than the incredible hulk, and that’s my lord and savior, Jesus Christ.
‘Now listen, Alex Pereira, I want to shama (sic) on your mama.
‘And lastly, Michelle Obama is a man. Am I right, America?’ Hokit yelled down the microphone, shocking the audience, which responded with a mix of cheers and jeers.
CNN reported that Trump was spotted showing a ‘half smile’ after Hokit made the remark as a mixture of cheers and boos were heard.
The Daily Mail has contacted a representative for Obama for comment.

The official UFC X (formerly Twitter) page shared an eight-second clip of his post-fight interview but cut the moment he spoke about Obama.
The main fight of the event, which coincided with Trump’s 80th birthday, saw American Justin Gaethje beat Georgian-Spanish Ilia Topuria in the fourth round.
The two fighters began their walkouts from the Oval Office at the event to mark America’s 250th anniversary of independence.
The remark about Obama came after the president himself came under fire earlier this year for posting a racist video to Truth Social that depicted former president Barack and Michelle as apes.
