MasterChef Australia Fan Spot Lucy Mansfield In Mortal Kombat II

An eagle-eyed MasterChef Australia fan has spotted one of this year’s home cooks in the latest Mortal Kombat sequel, and honestly, it’s the collab I didn’t know I needed.

It’s without a doubt that we’ve been quite hype about Mortal Kombat II, especially with Karl Urban joining the crew as Johnny Cage, alongside returning Aussie stars Jessica McNamee as Sonya Blade, and Josh Lawson as the laser-eyed larrikin Kano.

And while I won’t give away any spoilers — because it is bloody awesome — our love of Mortal Kombat II has only grown, especially because of this MasterChef Australia cameo.

Taking to r/MasterchefAU, u/wibblywobblywho shared an image of a familiar face from the opening scene of Mortal Kombat II.

“So weird, was Lucy in Mortal Kombat II or am I just blind?” the Redditor questioned.

Take a peep at the cameo below:

Linking to the contestant’s IMDB page, Lucy has been in three films, including 2025’s Anaconda, and 2026’s Balls Up alongside Mortal Kombat II, where she played an uncredited role as an “Edenian Female”.

“Oddly enough, I’ve seen all 3 movies she’s been in. Never recognised her before, of course,” the Redditor penned.

Other users also pointed out that Lucy looked familiar.

“I knew I recognised her from somewhere before,” one person penned.

“How cool. But then, I absolutely would not have recognised her,” another commented.

Alongside being an actress and MasterChef Australia 2026 contestant, Lucy is also a foodie content creator and has shared a bunch of personal recipes on both Instagram and TikTok.

As someone who is both a massive fan of the sequel and MasterChef Australia, this is the collab I didn’t know I needed.

Maybe, it’s foreshadowing that Lucy will be getting a ~flawless victory~ this season…
