Melania Trump teases new two-episode series following success of her documentary with new trailer on Amazon Prime

First Lady Melania Trump is dropping additional episodes of her documentary released earlier this year.

Melania, 56, and Prime Video unveiled a new trailer on Friday showing off the additional two-episode follow-up to her MELANIA film released in January.

The two episodes will air exclusively on Amazon Prime on November 20, according to a press release.

It draws on never-before-seen footage from the documentary shot by Brett Ratner.

‘I’m a mother, a wife, also first lady,’ Melania says in the trailer.

As a scene shows footage of the First Lady and her son, Barron, 20, Melania’s voice could be heard saying: ‘He’s my priority. He will always be my priority.’

The first episode is titled ‘Family & Trust’ and it focuses on Melania as she prepares to become First Lady amid tests of trust within the White House.

The second episode ‘Pride & Honor’ centers on her call to action to serve the American people as First Lady.

The original film cost an estimated $40 million in production costs and $35 million in marketing costs. The film grossed just $16.5 million

‘Everybody wants to be close to power and sometimes could be very dangerous,’ she says in the trailer.

She also strikes a defiant tone similar to her husband’s when addressing the press.

‘The media, they want gossip,’ she says. ‘For me, it’s noise.’

Ratner, who directed the documentary’s theatrical release, also directed the two forthcoming episodes. The studio has positioned the new episodes as extending the original documentary with bonus footage.

While Trump and many Republicans heralded the documentary, online critics have given the film dismal reviews.

It has a 1.6/10 on Prime Video, and a 9 percent approval on Rotten Tomatoes.

The documentary grossed a total of $16.5 million worldwide after its release in January.

The First Lady made at least $10.7 million from the project, according to the president’s latest federal financial disclosure.

Critics claimed Amazon did the deal to curry favor with the president and his family, better positioning founder Jeff Bezos in Trump’s good graces.

However, the film reportedly lost a significant amount of money, with estimates putting its production and marketing costs around $75 million.
