
The head of Britain’s biggest Rolex seller has called for a lower minimum wage for young people to tackle youth unemployment.
Watches of Switzerland’s Brian Duffy echoed other bosses in blaming increased costs – such as wages and national insurance contributions – for deterring employers from hiring.
He said: ‘The living wage at a lower rate for younger people, to me, makes very obvious sense.’

CBI chief Cressida Hogg last month warned that the young are being priced out of work due to increases in wages for under 21-year-olds.
