Terrifying video shows young Chicago boys clad in masks and nitrile gloves flashing their GUNS in broad daylight

A shocking video showed a group of young boys in Chicago wearing masks and nitrile gloves while proudly showing off their firearms as they walked through the city in broad daylight.

One boy could seen with a long gun tucked inside his red coat, with the length of the weapon stretching nearly the full size of his jacket.

Another flashed a handgun toward the camera, as others in the group also displayed their weapons and shouted out a gang affiliation.

Some held what appeared to be rifle-style firearms with extended magazines, openly waving them around in public.

‘We out here, b***h,’ one of the boys said. ‘This [is] our block, n****.’

Cars continued to whiz along the street as the group walked, talked and recorded themselves with their assault weapons.

The footage was filmed near West 22nd Street and South Sacramento Avenue on the city’s West Side.

‘Boulevard killer, n****,’ the person filming the video said, with others repeating the explicit phrase.

The boys in the video appeared to belong to the Two-Two Boys street gang, based on the location and one of them saying, ‘Two-two calling s***, n****.’

The street group was founded near the Marshall Square area and has a violent history that includes murders, according to Chicago Gang History.

Some of the individuals in the video wore disposable gloves but others handled the firearms without any coverings.

Several wore masks or hoods that hid their faces, while at least two appeared without face coverings.

One of the clips was set to the song ‘Flip the Switch’ by little-known Chicago rapper PGF GlizzyMoe, whose cover art features a hooded, masked man holding up two guns to cover his face.

The eye-catching footage was criticized by social media commenters, who wrote that it pointed to concerns about the Windy City’s recurring problems with gang activity and street violence.

One X user said the video was evidence of the Windy City’s problems with gangs and street violence.

‘Chicago is a warzone, you know that,’ they wrote.

Another called for lawmakers to move against the gang, claiming that local politicians had not taken enough action to remove wrongdoers from the streets.

‘They’ve been running rampant for over 30 yrs in the suburbs,’ the user said. ‘No one’s done a F***ING THING!’

Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson said last year that he aimed to build the ‘safest and most affordable big city in America.’

But some online users insisted that the Democratic lawmaker was not accomplishing this, pointing to the video as supposed evidence.

‘Can someone call ATF the mayor is incapable of getting these criminals off the streets,’ one X user wrote.

Another accused Johnson of not being strong enough in his backing of the Chicago Police Department (CPD).

‘You mean Brandon Johnson will throw cpd under the bus saying a social worker should of handle it,’ the user posted.

FBI Director Kash Patel said last fall that ‘the Chicago city streets have 110,000 gang members’ after he visited the city.

‘Thank God we have President Trump and this Department of Justice and this FBI going in there and crushing violent crime,’ he told Fox News in October.

Chicago has a population of roughly 2.7million people, according to the US Census Bureau.

The Chicago Police Department said in January that there had been 416 homicides in 2025, which marked the city’s lowest figure since 1965.

Last year, President Trump said that his administration would be ‘going into Chicago very soon,’ as he commented on Illinois’ Democratic Gov. JB Pritzker.

‘That’s a big city with an incompetent governor,’ Trump said in September while speaking at at Marine Corps Base Quantico. ‘Stupid governor.’

That same month, Trump had posted a graphic of him with the words ‘Chipocalypse Now’ while ‘wearing’ a cowboy hat as explosions and military helicopters flashed behind him.

Trump’s Truth Social post read: ‘I love the smell of deportations in the morning.

‘Chicago about to find out why it’s called the Department of WAR.’

Trump ended up deploying hundreds of National Guard troops to the Chicago area, but they were unable to do much because of legal challenges.

In December, Trump announced that he was removing the troops ‘despite the fact that CRIME has been greatly reduced by having these great Patriots in those cities, and ONLY by that fact.’

The US President’s decision came as the Supreme Court barred his administration from sending National Guard troops to Chicago and other blue cities around the US, including Los Angeles and Portland.

The Daily Mail has reached out to the office of Chicago mayor Brandon Johnson, as well as the Chicago Police Department for comment on the footage.
