"The highest clinical medical research ethics" It is looking to create international reference research laboratories

– Discuss the integration of artificial intelligence into medical research

The Supreme Council for the review of the clinical medical research ethics of the Council of Ministers held an expanded meeting chaired by Dr. Sharif Wadih, in the presence of Dr. Tamer Hafnawi, Secretary General of the Council, to discuss ways to enhance research infrastructure in Egypt through the establishment of reference research laboratories that serve the clinical scientific research.

He explained & quot; Wadih & quot, that the meeting discussed the mechanisms of establishing reference research laboratories that are internationally adopted, according to the latest international standards, with the aim of supporting and empowering clinical scientific research in Egypt, and stimulating investment in the economies of medical research and innovation, in a way that contributes to raising Egypt’s research classification and localization of modern technology in the medical field.

& “Wadih & quot”, the importance of integration between the national institutions concerned with health, medicine, higher education and scientific research, noting the need to accelerate the setting of a clear road map to establish these laboratories, in order to enhance Egypt’s position as a pioneering regional and international center in the field of clinical medical research.

A group of prominent scientific and leadership figures, among them Major General Dr. Tariq Al -Najdi, Head of the Military Medical Academy, Dr. Asma Fouad, Head of the Central Administration for Clinical Experiences at the Egyptian Drug Administration, members of the Supreme Council of Research Ethics, in addition to Dr. Nadia Zakhari, former Minister of Scientific Research, Professor of Medical Analysis, Microbiwallo and Immunology at the Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University Ghada Ismail, head of the central laboratories of university hospitals at the Faculty of Medicine & ndash; Ain Shams University, representatives of the central laboratories at the Ministry of Health, and the Egyptian private laboratories approved alongside a number of experts and researchers.

In another context, the Supreme Council for the review of clinical medical research ethics held a meeting chaired by Dr. Sharif Wadih, in the presence of Dr. Tamer Hafnawi, Secretary General of the Supreme Council, to discuss the executive steps of artificial intelligence applications in the field of clinical medical research, in line with the accelerated scientific progress and global developments in this vital field.

He pointed out & quot; Wadih & quot; Until the meeting dealt with ways to benefit from artificial intelligence in improving the quality, efficiency and accuracy of clinical medical research, and to place Egypt in the ranks of the leading countries in this field, by adopting the latest international standards in force in this important field.

Establish & quot; Wadih & quot; The importance of developing an urgent action plan to integrate artificial intelligence techniques with the medical research system, including the development of appropriate ethical and organizational frameworks, enhancing digital infrastructure, and building national research capabilities, in cooperation with all concerned authorities, and to serve the economies of scientific research in Egypt and enhance their regional and international competitiveness.

The meeting was attended by Major General Dr. Tariq Al -Najdi, Head of the Military Medical Academy, Dr. Wafaa Abdel Aal, Professor of Clinical Pathology at the National Research Center, members of the Supreme Council for Research Ethics, Dr. Nadia Zakhari, former Minister of Scientific Research, Dr. Hoda Baraka, Professor of Engineering at Cairo University and Advisor to the Minister of Communications, Advisor to the National Council for the Regulation of Artificial Intelligence and a number of experts in the field of artificial intelligence and research Scientific.
