Tragedy as beloved teacher and mom of 4 identified as driver who crashed into swimming pool

The driver who died after she crashed into her backyard swimming pool has been identified as a mother of four who worked as a teacher.
Allison Rahmani, 40, lost control of her SUV and plunged into her pool in Hewlett, New York, on Friday, according to JNS.
Rahmani did not drown and was able to call for help, but died on the way to the hospital, a source told the outlet.
She worked as a teacher at Hebrew Academy of Five Towns HS in Rockaway and was a mother of four.
Her death was announced by Irving Place Minyan, a Modern Orthodox synagogue where her husband, Matthew Rahmani, is the president.
During the accident, officials said Rahmani struck a tree and a parked car before driving into the pool, according to the New York Post.
A spokesman for the Nassau County Police Department told the outlet that first responders attempted life-saving measures before she was taken to the hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.
At a funeral service held for the mother on Sunday her heartbroken husband along with several other loved ones spoke about the loss of Rahmani.
