Twitch streamer Komanche dies aged 30 after heartbreaking final post: ‘The days just don’t get any better’

Beloved Twitch streamer Komanche has died aged 30 after writing a heartbreaking final post.

The content creator, whose real name was Carlos Mauricio Gomez, was found dead at his home in Monterrey, Mexico.

Neighbors noticed the front door to the property, which the streamer rented, had been left open since the previous day, per local reports.

The owners were subsequently called and they discovered Komanche’s body.

His death was confirmed earlier today by his representative Byron Reyes who took to Instagram to share: ‘The news is confirmed. I have spoken with his family.’

Reyes then also addressed online harassment with a post, translated from Spanish, that read: ‘Bullying on any scale is no joke.

‘On the internet, we ALL think we have the right to point fingers or criticize others without even knowing them or understanding how much those words can affect someone.

‘And now I’m thinking about Komanche, who received so much hate for years and years. Please, let’s be more mindful of what we post.’

He thanked Komanche for being a loyal friend, before concluding: ‘I’ll miss our conversations, but one day we’ll meet again, God willing.’

The streamer had built up a legion of 1.7 million followers on Twitch and nearly one million more on Instagram.

His own tragic final post to X simply read: ‘The days just don’t get any better.’

Komanche’s cause of death has not been officially confirmed.

The content creator was best known for helping organize the Squid Craft Games – a wildly popular Minecraft competition inspired by Netflix’s Squid Game.

It recreated the show’s elimination challenges inside the Minecraft universe and attracted some of the biggest names in Spanish-language streaming.

In the aftermath of his death, dozens of fans and fellow streamers rushed to share their condolences.

Creator AuronPlay wrote: ‘Komanche, my friend, this hurts, this hurts so much. We were talking just four days ago.

‘You can’t imagine how much I’m going to miss you and the emptiness you leave in me, but wherever you are, if you’re reading this, know that you were a good person and there were many people who loved you very much.’

Similarly, internet personality Ibai Llanos added: ‘Rest in peace, brother. We will remember you all our lives.’

It comes just days after Twitch streamer Adam Wolke died aged 36 after suffering a severe brain hemorrhage.

The content creator, who was known online as Skyline TV, described experiencing unusual symptoms during his final live stream before his death.
