Tyreek Hill’s agent reveals he expects NFL star to sign with a team within ‘days’ after opening talks with Chiefs over bombshell return

Tyreek Hill is closing in on a return to the NFL a year after suffering a shocking knee injury.
Hill was released by the Miami Dolphins at the end of last season after he suffered a severe left-knee injury in Week 4 including a dislocated kneecap, torn ACL and multiple damaged ligaments.
But after undergoing successful surgery, he has been rehabbing for a return and his agent, Drew Rosenhaus, now says he expects him to sign with a team ‘within days’, per ESPN.
And Rosenhaus confirmed the Kansas City Chiefs are in the frame having maintained contact with their former standout before then losing Tyquan Thornton and Rashee Rice to injury in Sunday’s win over the Las Vegas Raiders.
‘I would anticipate Tyreek potentially signing with a team over the next few days,’ Rosenhaus said.
Hill is reported to be targeting a November return, with various teams likely to have interest including his former franchise after their recent injury crisis at the position.

Hill has not played since suffering an awful knee injury in September last year against the Jets
Thornton suffered a gruesome dislocated ankle in Sunday’s game after Rice had already injured his hamstring. Hill posted ‘hm’ on Twitter after the receiver’s injury.
The 32-year-old was a fifth-round pick by the Chiefs in 2016 and won Super Bowl LIV with the franchise before seeking a big pay-day and joining the Miami Dolphins via trade in 2022.
He signed a four-year, $120 million deal with the franchise, but is now a free agent after being released in February.
Prior to last year’s Super Bowl, Hill admitted he regrets leaving the Chiefs while those still in the locker room have remained open to having him back.
‘That’s out of my hands, but I know I’d love to have ‘The Cheetah’ back in this building,’ tight end Travis Kelce said.
‘He’s a brother. He’s one of those people who, when he sets his mind to something, he usually delivers.
‘You saw that with Miami, when all the haters were saying he couldn’t play and he went and had his best year. I’d be excited by what he could do (here).’
‘I have no idea [if that would happen], but it’d be pretty cool,’ quarterback Patrick Mahomes said.
‘I hope we do,’ defensive tackle Chris Jones declared. ‘It’d be dangerous…. Dangerous!’

Hill’s recovery from injury is the biggest question mark surrounding his return, after he shared an update in June revealing he had ‘no power’ in his left leg.
‘So it’s about 10 months after doing two surgeries,’ Hill said. ‘My left leg is the one that I injured. I have no power in my left leg, so I’m trying to regain all the power back in my left leg. But it’s one day at a time.’
He added: ‘I ain’t going to tell you what my timeline is, but timeline looking real good right now, man.’
