Wrestling icon PAC’s cause of death revealed after AEW star, 40, was found ‘slumped’ in car

The cause of death for wrestling icon PAC has been revealed, weeks after the former All Elite Wrestling (AEW) star was found ‘slumped’ inside a rental car.

The 40-year-old British star, real name Benjamin Satterley, passed away on September 27 in Des Plaines, Illinois.

A spokesperson for the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed that investigators determined Satterley died from bronchial asthma, according to The California Post.

The manner of his death was officially ruled natural, bringing clarity after weeks of speculation following the athlete’s tragic passing.

Satterley was discovered unresponsive in the driver’s seat of a rental vehicle outside a CAVA restaurant at around 4pm

Emergency dispatch audio recorded first responders describing the situation as a ‘slumped in a car,’ with a 911 caller reporting that he appeared passed out.

First responders pronounced Satterley dead shortly after arriving at the scene.

An incident report noted there were no signs of physical trauma or suspicious marks on his body.

Authorities did observe saliva on the front of his shirt and found medication inside the vehicle.

Investigators spoke with an acquaintance of the wrestler, who explained that Satterley had stopped to grab lunch before heading to the airport.

His mobile phone was discovered on the console with Google Maps active, displaying driving directions to Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport.

Satterley, who previously competed in the WWE as Adrian Neville, had wrestled for AEW the night before in Chicago, taking on Andrade at the NOW Arena.

While he lost his All Out pay-per-view contest, he would make another appearance later during a main event matchup between Jon Moxley and Will Ospreay.

The wrestling star died just hours after performing on AEW’s latest PPV event in Chicago.
