Secret White House documents found at Trump’s home

The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) found several papers marked “Confidential” and “Top Secret” at the Mar-au-Lago estate, where former US President Donald Trump lived.

NARA employees confiscated several boxes of documents from the property of the former president of the United States, which Trump removed from the White House and moved to Mar-a-Lago. Among the documents are correspondence with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un and a letter from Barack Obama left in 2016 to his successor.

Now it is not specified how many secret documents were found. It is known for certain that some papers are strictly confidential and that only a narrow circle of authorized persons have access to them.

Interlocutors from the Washington Post noted that when Trump was the 45th US president, he often took files with papers from the White House. Trump did this in order to study the documents more carefully.
