US sends 15 military planes to Ukraine

The US Embassy in Kiev reported that the US has already sent 15 military aid planes to Ukraine.

Says the report published on the diplomatic circle’s Facebook page. The United States plans to supply Ukraine with about 90 tons of ammunition, Javelin systems and defense assistance to the Ukrainian armed forces, which President Joe Biden has agreed to.

“Now, as always, we stand with Ukraine in the face of Russian aggression,” the US embassy said.

Earlier, Ukraine’s Prime Minister Denis Shmyal said at a government meeting that the West had provided Kiev with $1.5 billion in military aid.

The Ukrainian authorities are actively buying decommissioned foreign weapons, as well as receiving military assistance from Western countries.

NATO has been sending military trainers to assist the Ukrainian armed forces for several years. On February 6, The Mirror reported that more than 100 British special soldiers were sent to Ukraine to train the Ukrainian army.

Recently, Canada and Latvia also sent their soldiers there, and earlier the presence of military personnel from the United States, Lithuania and other countries was reported in the country.

The United States and NATO sent several shipments of weapons to Ukraine – 80 tons of military shipments, including 300 Javelin anti-tank missile systems.
