UN calls for ceasefire in eastern Ukraine
United Nations representative Stephane Dujarric said that the organization is deeply concerned about the use of heavy weapons in eastern Ukraine, and calls on all those involved in the conflict to diplomacy.
“We are concerned about civilian casualties,” Dujarric said. “We reiterate our call for an immediate end to the violence, and the utmost restraint.” “All problems must be resolved through dialogue.”
