New explosion in the center of Luhansk

The agency “Luganskinformtsentr” reported that an explosion occurred in the central part of Lugansk, near the building of the Lugansk People’s Republic.

It turns out that a car exploded in the parking lot. There were no injuries, but the head of the LPR representation at the Joint Control and Coordination Center (JCCC) Mikhail Filipponenko and his driver, who were in the car next to the exploding car, were injured.

Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and State Security agencies moved to the site.

Before that, as a result of another explosion, the car of the head of the People’s Militia of the Republic, Denis Senenkov, was damaged, but he was not hurt. An explosion was also reported near Donetsk airport.
