ABU DHABI, 25 APRIL / WAM / The 18th session of the Sheikh Zayed Book Award, organized by the Abu Dhabi Center for the Arabic Language of the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, announced that the “House Arab” Foundation in Spain won the title of Cultural Personality of the Year category, in recognition of the Foundation’s achievements, as a A bridge between the Arabic and Spanish cultures, and introducing the Arabic culture and language in Europe and Latin American countries.
The Award’s Board of Trustees and its scientific body decided unanimously to grant the Arab House Foundation the title of “Cultural Personality of the Year” for this year, based on the Foundation’s effective contribution to building a dialogue between civilizations by hosting many Arab writers, artists, and thinkers, and cooperating with the Spanish Arabists for this purpose, in A context based on belief in tolerance and respect for cultural diversity.

He explained that the Arab House Foundation was established to be a center for teaching the Arabic language 16 years ago, after which it developed and became a national reference for teaching the Arabic language, which is a basic pillar of its activities, to introduce the ancient Arab heritage, the legacy of Andalusian culture and its civilizational influence.
